If the 3D artwork is old enough to be in the public domain, you may upload a photograph you have taken yourself. If the photograph was taken by somebody else, you need the photographer’s permission, since the photograph is copyright-protected, despite depicting art that is not.

You not indicated any photgraphers and no licenses for the photographic work, presumably its from the musums websites and not free. --Martin H. (talk) 22:47, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

Important notice[edit]

I had to delete all 3-dimensional photos that you probably took from the Dallas Museum of Art website, since taking them without special permission is illegal. Only photographs of two-dimensional Public DOmain works (paintings, drawings etc.) are considered to be in the Public Domain as well. Please also consider when uploading:
