• Thanks a lot. There have been many discussions about too big images in the German Wikipedia. Many users dont like them because of the long download time. Other said, for printing an image can't be big enough. There is still no consent about the optimal image size. Therefore I started uploading two sizes for some of my images, linked the small image to the article and the big one to the small one. -- Aka 20:22, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • This may be solved with the new mediawiki 1.4. See the Test server, where the larger image Image:Lammetje (Nunspeet 2004).jpg from the commons is integrated, but automatically resized to a smaller version here. -- Chris 73 00:48, 20 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Panorama

Hi Aka,

I just ran across an free download [1] for a super easy automatic stitcher. It produces good results, but doesn't have the power and flexibility of Hugin (or the panoramafactory, i'm guessing). Duk 17:23, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
