Hello Alex:D, at the Geocoding project we have noticed that you uploaded a number of pictures from one of the less covered regions on earth. Maybe you could consider adding coordinates to some of your images. They will show up on the WikiMiniAtlas and the Google Earth Commons-layer. I don't think that this is best solution. Will be good idea to put exact coordinates to every image. Unfortunately Google Maps doesn't have hi-res satellite image for Braşov :-( May be some other online service have or you could use GPS? --EugeneZelenko 16:15, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi! I've noticed that some time time ago you uploaded several pictures with Romanian domnitors. Recently I've discovered a web site with nice pictures regarding the subject that I thought you may like it. I don't know if I will have time (and patience) to upload them on Commons. I saw Image:ElectrecordSideB.jpg and I searched some for information about the year that the Gramophone was made. The label says 1883 but wikipedia says that the company was started in 1932. I note that you have provided a picture of a stroboscope for this article which you produced yourself (I'm not sure anyone could claim copyright on such an image). However, you have constructed it with 134 segments for the 45 rpm ring. This is not correct, the 45 rpm ring should have 133 segments. Both give a speed that is not exactly 45 rpm (it is not possible to construct such a disc that gives exactly 45 rpm), but 45.112 rpm (133 segments) is closer than 44.78 rpm (134 segments). The records are mastered at 45 rpm exactly. It is posible to construct a 45 rpm exactly strobe disc for a 60 Hz mains supply (166 segments). 20.133.0.13 15:31, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Fiindca sunt cam nedumerit : cand prelucrez eu azi cu Photoshop o imagine initial creata de altcineva, rezultatul e PD-self own work, sau ramane al acelui altcineva (eventual PD-old, ca in cazul tabloului cu Cuza) ? This is a very nice map, however I am not sure about the date (1921), as the map shows the Irish Free State (founded December 1922) and Turkey as it was after the Treaty of Lausanne (July 1923) and before annexation of Iskenderun in 1939, so the earliest year of publication would be late 1923 or 1924.
