Category:Players of South Africa national rugby union team and Category:Rugby union players from South Africa
Hi :) I don't know if you're aware of it, but there's a difference, in rugby union, between your nationality and the national team you can play. Category:Players of South Africa national rugby union team is about the "state nationality" and thus not a clear subcategory of Category:Rugby union players from South Africa, which is about the "rugby union nationality". For instance, en:Pieter de Villiers (rugby union) is both on Category:Players of France national rugby union team and Category:Rugby union players from South Africa :) Léna (talk) 11:03, 30 November 2012 (UTC)

svgs and pngs
- I suppose you're talking about one of Ireland province's flag. I know, but I thought I should do something. Take a look here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:ListFiles/Setanta_Saki. Guy uploaded "his version" of Ulster/Connaght/Leinster/Munster flag to every single file at Commons. SVG (or if there is no such file, he (she?) uploaded new one. Or another one...), he exported this svg image to jpgs pngs etc. Reuploaded over the old files... For example: Category:Flags of provinces of Ireland. Some of those files have already been deleted, as you probably know, after my Saturday's (?) initiative. ARvєδuι + 18:51, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
- I didn't know all of that at the time. Either way, they are not duplicates and do not meet the criteria for speedy deletion (which is what the duplicate request is doing). If they are not worthy of being retained, they can be batched in a normal request and handled collectively by the same means. If the person is being problematic, we deal with the person on those terms, and manage the images by our processes. If someone uploads "their" version over the top, then we can revert. I hear your frustration, and please know I wasn't reprimanding, just dropping a late night note as I faced that backlog, so if it was curt, apologies, it was meant to be a pointer. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:02, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
- I didn't take it personally, so there is no need to panic :) By the way, I never liked idea of merging discussion threads, as I don't know whether you will even read this post on MY page... ARvєδuι + 23:18, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
