Hello, Bojovnik!

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations"). Pro-tip: The CommonSense tool can help you find the best category for your image.

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

NDH maps

Hi, I saw your request for a change in the maps of NDH after 1943. Thanks for your input, I am always happy to change my maps if source data supports the changes. Looking at the sources you give, the large map of Greater Germany does shows a distinct area around where you indicate called "Kommissariat Veglia", but the map legend does not indicate its formal status. The German article on OZAK also mentions the Kommissariat but it isn't totally clear about its status although it does indicate possible Croatian hegemony. So although it isn't totally clear cut, I feel the evidence is strong enough to warrant a change so I will update the maps. XrysD (talk) 16:36, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

OK, updates are done! See Districts and Counties. For both maps I simply added the Kommissariat and used an existing map colour and a different font to show it wasn't a county or district. I felt the use of additional non-standard colour was not necessary as it would draw undue attention to the Kommissariat. I haven't updated the dual map used in the infobox for two reasons. First, looking at the template for the Former Country Infobox it seems to me that such a detailed map is not appropriate. Second, it was basically just a copy of the originals stuck together with minor colour and name changes of questionable value by other authors. So I have replaced it with updated versions of the locator maps that Peacemaker67 has requested. Hopefully this will be acceptable to the other article authors! If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
