Hello. I saw that you tried to use the unexisting template CopyrightedFreeUseProvided on Image:Banda Aceh Before and After 2004 Tsunami.jpg. The reason for it not working is that the name is CopyrightedFreeUseProvidedThat. I fixed it and just thought I'd let you know. Oh, and have a happy New Year. /Djonn 04:11, 1 Jan 2005 (UTC)

[edit] South America cropping
Hi Cantus. I'm curious why you uploaded another version of Image:South America satellite plane.jpg. I guess you felt it was cropped just a little too tight? Anyway, if you remember what position you cropped at exactly, I think it would be good to update the information at the image description page. Thanks, Dbenbenn 14:06, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Howdy, I found the image Image:Michelle Bachelet official photo.jpg, which you uploaded under a CopyrightedFreeUse tag. However, the source gives the licence statement: "Las fotografias contenidas en este Portal son públicas y sin costo para el usario. Se autoriza su uso citando le fuente y no alterando su contenido original", which I translate to mean that the images are free to use with attribution, but modification of the images isn't permitted. Non-derivative licensed images are unfortunately considered not to be sufficiently "free" for inclusion on the Commons. If I've made a mistake in my translation of the terms of the licence, or you can provide an alternate source, feel free to drop a comment over on its entry on Deletion Requests.
--B1mbo 02:20, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] File:Earth-Moon.jpg
hi Cantus, you made this moon illustration. can you please tell me, if it also uses the right inclination towards the earth? I want to use your image as a basis for a derivate, so I need some more data on which inclination is used or if it's just a right size right position illustration, but leaves out more facts. greets and thanks in advance! --Andreas -horn- Hornig (talk) 03:22, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Hello Cantus!
Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Commons images are used by editors on many projects in many languages. Each image is put into categories. This helps other editors find them. Please add categories to each image you upload.
To add an image to a category, add the following code to the end of the page.
-
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbit of comets, add the following to the image description page:
-
-
This will make the diagram show up in the categories: Astronomy diagrams, Comets.
For further information on categories read Commons:Categories.
The CommonSense Tool often helps you find the best category for your image.
Here is a gallery of your images. Please check that each image has a category. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the help desk. Thank you.

[edit] Image alteration request
Hi Cantus,
Could you alter the image File:Speed of light from Earth to Moon.gif as I outline below, if you have time? The disappearance of the light beam as the animation goes from the last frame back to the first could be confusing (because for that to happen, the speed of light would have to be infinite), so I think a better way would be to have the Earth shoot a pulse of light at the moon. Below, I will show two ways of achieving this. Below, O represents Earth and o represents the moon.
First way (beginning at the current last frame:
O----------o
O ---------o
O --------o
O -------o
Second way (beginning somewhere in the middle:
O---- o
O ---- o
O ---- o
O ---- o
And so on. Either one of those I think would be better. Thanks, Pecos Joe (talk) 20:04, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] File:Piñera crop.jpg
Estimado,
--B1mbo (talk) 06:32, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
