Thank you for creating Japanese flag image. But according to ja:Wikipedia:井戸端/subj/都道府県旗のアップロード and Commons:井戸端/過去ログ3#都道府県旗及び都道府県章のアップロードは問題ないか, flag is not apply "Article 13 of the Copyright Law of Japan". Some (many) flag image which the copyright has expired can replace Template:PD-Japan-organization. Other flag image file must be replace from this template. If you think your flag image don't have copyright, this template may be replaced Template:PD-ineligible at contributor-responsibility.--Knua (talk) 16:29, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I know nothing of Japanese copyright law so I couldn't begin to guess if any of the flags are {{PD-ineligible}} or {{PD-shape}}. All my SVG images are derivatives of the PNG flags uploaded by Kzaral over a year ago. I converted them since they were in the {{SVG}} category. If the original PNG files are copyrighted then the SVGs must be deleted too, no need to notify me though, that would fill up my talk page! I'll try and go through all the PNGs again to see which can be tagged as {{PD-Japan-organization}} but I don't have a lot of time right now. It would be nice if the copyvios could be uploaded to en.wiki with a fair use rationale since they are used in some articles. — Ch1902 18:38, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

You can evaluate whether the flag is {{PD-ineligible}} or {{PD-shape}} without knowledge of Japanese copyright law. I will check all flags whose copyright has expired. [edit] Oceania projection

Thank you for creating the orthographic projection of Oceania. I was wondering if you could change the image to show more of eastern Oceania. I realise that there are no landmasses there that will show up on the projection at any reasonable scale, but the current projection is centred on Australia, yet that country is on the western edge of the region. Oceania covers such a large area that I don't think it is possible to show both Easter Island and Western Australia in the same projection, but if you centre on Tonga or Fiji then you should be able to at least cover the area from Pitcairn Island to Western Australia.-gadfium (talk) 20:53, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
