Unfortunetaly, when you uploaded pic in reference, you forgot license and by this way this one runs risk of deletion. Could you tag your work with a valid license (all possible licenses here.

Hello Daniel,

first excuse my English.

I was only the uploader not the creator. I found the picture directly in the en-Wiki, where at this time the User Lyndsaruell made the contribution. The license was free use. He tells: Inca Quipu: 1400 D.C. Inca communication system. From the Larco Museum Collection. Released for free use.

So I tell in my upload from en-Wiki to commons-Wiki that Lyndsaruell was the orignal uploader- as the license regulate.

Later probably the original upload to en-Wiki was deleted and replaced by the Commons-version. This sometimes happens, because with a Commons-version one entry could used for all wikipedias. So cleaners wipe out the picture from the single-language-Wikipedias and replace it with a link to Commons.

Most of my uploads are own works. But sometimes I find a nice picture in an single-Wiki instead of Commons and upload the picture to Commons. But I never delete the originally upload at example in the french wiki.

Because all this I wrote in this case:

Hallo! Mein Name ist BlueCaper. Ich spreche kein Deutsch; alles, was hier geschrieben wurde durch translate.google.com. Darf ich vorschlagen Übersetzung der deutschen Beschreibungen der Bilder in Englisch (Englisch ist da ein sehr beliebtes und nahezu weltweit Sprache)? my English is not good enough to add an english text version in most cases. Scool is out now since over 20 years, and so I forgot all the rules of the english language. In this time I read texts in English, and sometimes I translate texts from English to German. I have a little help from websites like http://www.dict.cc/ or http://dict.leo.org/ . But I nearly never translate from german to english. If you are able to add an english version feel free to to it. But I have not the capacity to control the results. Greetings Claus Ableiter

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.
