Category:Skansen Parowozownia Kościerzyna

"Skansen Parowozownia Kościerzyna" is old, now is "Muzeum Kolejnictwa w Kościerzynie" (in english "Railway Museum in Kościerzyna"). Please rename this. Thanks.

Rename Category:Skansen Parowozownia Kościerzyna to Category:Railway Museum in Kościerzyna (47 entries moved, 0 to go)

If the photographs are of the old museum and there have been many changes made to it, perhaps the old name should be kept and photographs of the new museum put into a separate category under the new name? — Cheers, JackLee talk 07:13, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
This is completly the same object. Former "skansen" (from 1992) now (renamead 24 july 2009) "museum" ([1], [2]), cheers Gdaniec (talk) 10:33, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
OK, in that case move your request into the "Category moves" section and delete this section. — Cheers, JackLee talk 10:42, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Warnings

(This should rather be: «Please do add BSicons to this queue (e.g. File:BSicon STR.svg) only after all uses within special templates CommonsDelinker is unable to handle are manually fixed!», as CommonsDelinker is very much able to handle hundreds of regular uses, such as in marking derivatives in Commons file pages, which are really painful to fix manually, on top of those that must be.) ... (Functionally speaking, the category mover seems to work fine with a thousands of category move requests.) -- Tuválkin 20:05, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

I think that for the most part of the delinker requests above it's necessary a CFD. --DenghiùComm (talk) 13:03, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

  • Indeed, a church can have a Gothic exterior and a Rococo interior. --Foroa (talk) 13:09, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
  • I agree with Foroa: many churches do not have just one style. The interior may be rococo, and the church my be gothic. Furthermore, I cannot see the improvement in such a massive change in the grammar used to date, which would affect the whole of our categories tree. I am not an English native speaker: if there is some grammar mistake in those categories, then let's go, otherwise, I oppose those moves: they improve nothing, and create chaos. --User:G.dallorto (talk) 13:18, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
  • I agree these requests should go to CfD. It's a massive change whose benefits aren't very apparent. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 13:34, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
  • My thought was expressed by Dall'Orto, if this is an obvious syntax error in the English language, but if they do not discuss it is IMHO an unnecessary complication.--Threecharlie (talk) 13:43, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Please, if you move, keep "Category redirect" since many cats could be linked from local wikipedias, and we cannot correct all of these links immediately. --Sailko (talk) 14:36, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
    • Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment: When creating some subcategories of "Category:Building interiors by building function", I was advised by Foroa that the correct format should be "Interiors of XYZ" rather than "XYZ interiors". This necessitates the renaming of subcategories in the latter format, which I have been progressively nominating at this page. However, I accept the point made that this change is unnecessary for the above categories, particularly since it has been pointed out that churches can have one exterior architectural style and another interior style (that hadn't occurred to me). — SMUconlaw (talk) 20:03, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

I am Symbol oppose vote.svg Opposed to the reversal of the names of these categories. When it comes to churches in general by style, has already been explained that a "Romanesque churches - interior" is not the same thing as "Interior of Romanesque churches." When it comes to a specific church, then I find it more logical and ordered to formulate the name of giving first the place and then his part as has been done e.g. for the Cathedral of Milan or for the Anjou Castle in Naples. --DenghiùComm (talk) 08:54, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
