What's the deal with Image:Paddy.jpg? It is not used on the german wiki, and adding images just to block vandals is odd. The original user subsequently uploaded Image:Padddy.jpg (which i just deleted for the second time). Can this image be deleted? -- Chris 73 02:34, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)

moin dab. könntest du deine kontakte spielen lassen, und den deutsch-sprechenden commons-mitarbeitern einen gefallen tun? es geht um diese zwei Kategorien: Category:Löschanträge und Category:Kandidaten für Schnellöschung. wie du siehst, wird dort nix angezeigt. kannst du die wikimedia-software so knfigurieren (lassen), dass alle dateien/seiten mit den entsprechenden tags ({{Deletionrequest}}, bzw. {{Delete}}) auch auf den deutschsprachigen kategorien angezeigt werden? wäre echt super, weil sonst war meine übersetzungsarbeit völlig umsonst. Die Versionsgeschichte sagt "11:20, 16. Jun 2006 Essjay hat „Image:Dautphetal Bev entw 1834-2004.png“ gelöscht ({{no source since}} March 2006)". Es fehlten die Angaben zur Lizenz, daher wurde das Bild gelöscht (da macht man keine Löschdisku). Wenn du möchtest, kann ich das Bild wiederherstellen, und du trägst die Lizenz nach, ok? --DaB. 21:54, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Du hast kürzlich dieses Bild gelöscht, das ich aufgenommen habe. Verstehe ich nicht. Angeblich (deine Begründung) soll der Eigentümer keine Bilder erlauben und Panoramafreiheit wäre unmöglich. Dem steht die Entstehung des Bildes von einem öffentlichen Weg aus entgegen (es handelt sich um die frei zugängliche Außenmauer der Vorburg). Über die genauen Besitzverhältnisse habe ich wenig Ahnung, aber historische Denkmäler darf man doch von öffentlichen Straßen und Plätzen aus fotografieren?? Hier in commons ist keine Panoramafreiheit möglich. Liegt daran, das das die wenigsten Länder auf der Welt kennen (Deutschland ist da eine Ausnahme). Zuästzlich hat sich aber auch der Besitzer dieses Grundstückes gemeldet, der glaubhaft dargelegt hat, das es sich um einen Privatweg handelt, vom dem das Foto gemacht wurde. Wie sicher bist du dir, das deine Aufnahme ok war? --DaB. 22:10, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Sehr sicher, da ich vor Ort sogar den Besitzer getroffen habe und er mir ausdrücklich erlaubt hat, zu fotografieren und die Bilder in geschichtlichen Darstellungen zu publizieren. Er hat mich sogar übers Gelände geführt. Das Tor jedenfalls ist von außen fotografiert. Es befindet sich vielleicht 5 Meter innerhalb eines Privatgrundstücks und ist von außen genau so unverstellt zu sehen. In meinem Bilderfundus auf der Festplatte habe ich noch Aufnahmen aus weiteren ansonsten nicht zugänglichen Bereichen im Inneren... Komische Sache das. Grüße--Bufu
Hmmm, jetzt verstehe ich auch, was sie am Telefon meinte mit "mit den anderen Bildern haben wir kein Problem". Im Gegensatz zu Dir war ich dort nie, aber es gibt durchaus Wege, die öffentlich zugänglich sind, bei denen es sich aber dennoch um Privatgrundstücke handelt (habe selbst an einem solchen Weg gewohnt: für Spaziergänger definitiv nicht als Privatweg erkennbar, war aber einer). Aber abgesehen von dieser rein rechtlichen Dimension kann ich den Wunsch der Eigentümer schon verstehen. Wenn das Foto wirklich wichtig ist, dann würde ich empfehlen, das nochmal mit den Eigentümern zu besprechen (Rufnummer sollte sich anhand des Klingelschildes auf dem Foto leicht ermitteln lassen), zur Not habe ich sie auch noch hier. -- Viele Grüße, Akl 18:26, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Nun ja, das Foto war nicht wirklich wichtig, es hat lediglich das Vorhandensein von Überresten der Vorburg illustriert. Mangels aktuell vorliegender Hauptquellen zum Bauwerk habe ich eh keinen Ausbau des Artikels in Planung. Falls ich doch noch was ergänze, habe ich noch genug unbedenkliches Detailbildmaterial, z.b. den zur Burg gehörigen, aber an anderer Stelle befindlichen hist. Schafstall etc... Ansonsten respektiere ich natürlich den Wunsch des Eigentümers, auch wenn ich ihn für speziell jenes Bild nicht nachvollziehen kann. Grüße--Bufu 21:41, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

"User:Polarlys" tut mir meine Seite hier ständig löschen, obwohl ich da einen Text von mir da Hereingeschrieben hab. Dann habe ich eine Liste mit Links eingefügt und der kommt mir Kopiergeschützte Werke an, um mit dieser Seite Unfug anzustellen. Der hat die geschützt, obwohl ich da 'reingeschrieben habe, dass ich selber jeder hier editieren darf. Dann habe ich den aufgefrordert das rückgängig zu machen und der hat es nicht gemacht. Das ist Vandalismus! Ich habe gegen keine Regel verstoßen. Nun hat der mich gauf meiner eigenen Benutzerseite gesperrt, obwohl ich nur meinen eigenen Text da hereingeschrieben habe!!!--The User 09:07, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Der Nutzer, der hier in der Vergangenheit übrigens hunderte Urheberrechtsverletzungen reingestellt hat, aufgrund von „hate speech“, persönlichen Angriffen und ideologisch verbrämter Arbeitsweise auf en.wikipedia.org und de.wikipedia.org wiederholt gesperrt wurde (mit einer ganzen Armada von Sockenpuppen), der TU und SLUB Dresden mehrere Abuse-Meldungen eingebracht hat, hat Texte von ard.de kopiert und war zudem mal wieder in seiner „In-der-BRD-wird-gedopt-während-unsere-heldenhaften-DDR-Atleten-inklusive-die-Schwimmerinnen-mit-den-Bärten-ihre-Medaillien-ohne Doping-gewonnen-haben“ unterwegs. Dear user, I noticed that you use the includePage function in your monobook.js page.

This function is now obsolete, as the importScript function was introduced with rev:35064 to the MediaWiki Javascript core library wikibits.js. It also keeps track of already imported files.

I'm sorry for being suspicious, but there has been a zergrush of people trying to get these images deleted suddenly, so when an admin who has 50 edits in the past year shows up and closes it out of the blue, you can see why I'd just wonder a bit.
