Volevo dirti, visto che si stanno accumulando le segnalazioni di copyvio, che purtroppo non possiamo caricare fotografie di opere d'arte (sia sculture, che pitture, mosaici, monumenti, palazzi di valore architettonico) se l'autore non sia morto da almeno 70 anni. Meno che mai se è vivente. A MENO CHE si riesca ad avere dall'autore (non dal proprietario, proprio dall'artista) il permesso di pubblicazione. Mi spiace, purtroppo la legge dice così. Se trovare gli artisti è un casino, effettivamente è meglio lasciar perdere. Ma prima o poi è una cosa che dovremo fare, perché non possiamo stare in eterno senza nessuna foto di Scarpa o di Piano... sono artisti importanti, dopo tutto.

La legge che citi potrebbe, una volta approvata e pubblicata sulla Gazzetta ufficiale, cambiare la situazione. Per il momento, però, finché non è promulgata, la legge in vigore è quella vecchia. Quindi alla tua domanda rispondo: tienle da parte per il futuro, ma non caricarle su Commons. Tanto c'è così tanto da pubblicare, sull'Italia, che non sarà qualche foto in meno a rovinarci.

Approfitto dell'occasione per rinnovare la richiesta di categorizzare le tue immagini. Carichi un sacco di roba, e questo va bene, ma senza categorie, e questo va male. Ci sono già 2 milioni di foto su Commons, presto saranno decine di milioni, se non categorizzi i tuoi uploads presto sarà impossibile rintracciarli. [edit] Categorizzazione

Te ne ringrazio. passo una quantità spropositata di tempo a cercare di stare dietro agli uploads non categorizzati vomitati a decine di migliaia su Commons, che poi alla fine sono pura zavorra in quanto del tutto introvabili.

Ho visto il lavoro che segnali, e ne gioisco dall'intimo dei precordi :-) Ti segnalo solo questa nota: Commons:Categories#Over-categorization. Quando hai categorizzato la "Chiesa X (Rapallo)" nella categoria "Churches in Rapallo", è solo la "Category:Chiesa X (Rapallo)" che va nella "Category:Churches in Rapallo", tutte le singole immagini di quella chiesa invece non ci vanno piu'. Infatti quando una immagine è in una categoria-figlia che sta dentro ad una categoria superiore (madre), si considerano già incluse nella categoria-madre. Ciò oltre tutto dovrebbe risparmiarti lavoro.

Ti chiedo inoltre di categorizzare statue, dipinti, rilievi. Un loro censimento è importante anche per gli studenti e studiosi dell'arte. Permette di scoprire l'esistenza di opere in località lontane dai "soliti giri" e dai riflettori editoriali, e serve a valorizzare opere d'arte poco note. Se non te la senti di imparare la categorizzazione artistica di Category:Art of Italy, inventati una categoria tua, tipo "Paintings in Liguria" "Statues in liguria", "Reliefs in Liguria", "Frescos in Liguria", e versa tutto lì dentro, che così intanto hai "messo al sicuro" la conoscenza in quella categoria, poi prima o poi qualcuno andrà a fare il lavoro di fino. Che a quel punto sarà un gioco da ragazzi, perché basta smistare. Il lavoro pesante è mettere assieme il materiale da smistare... Se lo fa l'uploader diventa tutto molto piu' semplice, perché lui sa cosa ha caricato.

Sabato ho categorizzato i municipii italiani privi di categorizzazione: Category:Town halls in Italy. Ho trovato una marea di municipi liguri fatti da te: ti sei dato decisamente da fare! Ho notato alcune costruzioni che paiono recenti, anche se devo aggiungere che l'età dell'edificio è solo uno dei criteri da tenere presenti. Molti infatti erano tanto insignificanti dal punto di vista architettonico (un cubo con porta e finestre) da non poter essere oggetto di copyright. Degli altri parleremo al momento opportuno. Ciao Davide! Grazie per aver creato Category:Muretto di Alassio. Avrei dovuto crearla e riempirla io quando ho caricato le piastrelle. Volevo avvertirti che Image:Muretto di Alassio-Raymond Peynet.JPG è stata cancellata da Rama su mia segnalazione, in quanto violazione di copyright dall'opera di Peynet.
