Image:US Government most-wanted Iraqi playing cards.jpg

Image deletion warning Image:US Government most-wanted Iraqi playing cards.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file.
In all cases, please do not take the deletion request personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!

Hi. I am posting here because Commons:Deletion requests/Image:US Government most-wanted Iraqi playing cards.jpg is closed. Re this comment, I wrote "Dmcdevit, who unilaterally decides to move it to Commons (despite the Fair Use tagging)". Please note the language "unilaterally decides to move", rather than what you appear to have inferred, "unilaterally moves". What I meant was that you appeared to have decided by yourself, without consulting others, to move this image to Commons. I am sorry if I was unclear. Also regarding that comment, what made you think of me that I assumed I had foiled your diabolical plot (your original text "assume they've foiled my diabolical plot")? Thank you for admitting your mistake and restoring the deleted image on English Wikipedia.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 19:42, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

It' absolutely ludicrous for you to imply that I need to ask permission before making an edit. Your whole attitude is very off-putting. You appear not to have consulted with anyone before posting here, either, but I'll do you a favor just this once, and not report it. Dmcdevit 03:18, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm sorry if I put you off. Making an edit is one action. Moving a fair-use image from fair-use-tolerant English Wikipedia to fair-use-intolerant Commons is quite another action.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 15:48, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

You used {{Delete}} when requesting the removal of the image, but {{Speedy}} is the appropriate template for speedy deletion requests. I have taken the liberty of fixing this. Regards, --[[Anonymous Dissident]] 06:19, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Ah, thanks! :-) Dmcdevit 06:24, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
No worries. Good luck with the Steward elections. --[[Anonymous Dissident]] 06:26, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
