Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Commons images are used by editors on many projects in many languages. Each image is put into categories. This helps other editors find them. Please add categories to each image you upload.

To add an image to a category, add the following code to the end of the page.

[[Category:Category Name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbit of comets, add the following to the image description page:

[[Category:Astronomy diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories: Astronomy diagrams, Comets.

For further information on categories read Commons:Categories.

Hello, Fg2. I'm sorry to hear that you passed away. I have not had any direct interaction with you except a couple of vote discussions and edits to your DYK article. However, due to your fine images works, I visited your page a long ago and saw through your images. You were a calm and good contributor to Wikipedia, so as a frequent Commons editor myself, I feel to write this to you. Although you are gone, your images are still with us. I'm sorry to hear of your passing, Fg2, and I only really knew you through your incredible contributions to Commons. It's a little late, I guess, but File:HoryujiYumedono0363edit4.jpg is now on the front page of the Irish Language Wikipedia for the month of November 2009.
