[edit] Coat of arms of Argentine provinces
Why did you remove the incomplete licence tag used on the Argentine provinces coa? The licences are still incomplete. I will tag the pictures with a deletion request, if you do not have a proof of the PD status. --ALE! 21:02, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

- As I, myself understand it, the design of the coat of arms and the flags can not be copyrighted. However, the painting of the graphic is the copyright of the person who did it. Therefore this person has to allow the usage of the graphic by putting them into the public domain or to allow the usage with a GNU FDL or CC licence. But as I said, that is how I understand it. Maybe you / we can ask somebody else also. --ALE! 13:43, 29 October 2005 (UTC)

| Image deletion warning | Image:Springboks.JPG has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file.
