Ciao, perchè mi hai rovinato la pagina personale "SCIACCA ANTICA"? Fra l'altro le foto antiche non hanno nulla a che fare con la categoria Sciacca, essendoci pure altre due foto che non sono miei. Se c'è questa possibilità di crearsi la propria pagina personale, come ce ne sono centinaia, perchè non lo debba fare io? Hai fatto anche un pò di confusione, c'erano foto doppie dovute ad errori di scansioni, e quindi le avevo ripetute, e non andavano inserite. sei pregato di ripristinarmi la mia pagina personale, o me la creo nuovamente. On my talk page you've informed me by a template that this image can be deleted due to invalid source. Well, as far as I remember I've moved that image from en.wiki to commons. The problem is that I've simply copyied the description from there. Now I know that there are better ways for moving images, but I didn't knew it 8 month ago. Aiuto caricamento immagine
Ciao Jaqen, ti chiedo un aiuto perché ho un problema con un'immagine. L'ho caricata erroneamente con questo nome dopo averla presa da en.wiki messa sul mio pc e ricaricata con l'aiuto di commons helper. Non mi ero accorto che nel salvataggio del mio pc avevo aggiunto l'estensione .png. Ora, volendo ricaricare l'immagine senza quell'estensione, per poi cancellare con "bad name" quella errata, mi viene segnalato un errore, questo: "Upload warning - The file is corrupt or has an incorrect extension. deprecated function in your monobook.js
Dear user, I noticed that you use the includePage function in your monobook.js page.
This function is now obsolete, as the importScript function was introduced with rev:35064 to the MediaWiki Javascript core library wikibits.js. It also keeps track of already imported files.

Si, se la persona è ancora viva o morta da poco (in teoria questo è un template che si dovrebbe usare anche su it.wiki - sai com'è, una foto di una persona vivente ad es. è sotto CC-BY-SA-3.0, quindi il fotografo ti dà il permesso anche di venderla, ma occorre pagare i diritti d'immagine alla persona ritratta, se la vendi - questo sarebbe una cosa da dire anche su it.wiki. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Grazie della segnalazione. Ho provveduto a mettere in cancellazione tutte le immagini mie del museo di Villa Giulia. Fino a quando WikiCommons insisterà nella sua ridicola pretesa di essere un mero magazzino privo di obiettivi politici o culturali, alla pari di Flickr, non ha senso che sia io a farmi carico di risolvere da solo le ingiustizie del mondo. Ce n'è stato uno, prima, che voleva farlo, e lo hanno crocifisso. Preferisco evitare. Prima o poi le contraddizioni della Wikimedia foundation (a iniziare dalla sua pretesa di adattare a forza al mondo dei contenuti e delle immagini regole nate per il software informatico) esploderanno. L'immagine del drago cinese
Parlo di questo tuo intervento. Prima di giungere a giudizi affrettati e pregiudiziosi avresti quantomeno dovuto chiarirti con me. In genere quando mi capitava di caricare immagini (in particolare serie corpose) per fare prima copiavo-incollavo tabelle che avevo già compilato per altre immagini; circa il caso specifico dell'immagine del drago puoi notare che il link rimanda ad una sezione dell'account Photobucket, non ad una immagine specifica (che nell'account non c'è), e puoi notare come abbia corretto i dati della tabella nel giro di pochi minuti. Circa le immagini cancellate, io non posso sapere se le immagini su Photobucket sono coperte da copyright o no, quindi non ne sono responsabile. È giusto che vengano cancellate e sono io il primo a chiedere che vengano cancellate laddove vi sia dubbio, come ti hanno fatto notare altri commonisti. --Nyo (talk) 22:47, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Cattedrali
Fa parte della decisione, che a me a suo tempo era stata presentata come già presa e non discutibile, di adottare nella catalogazione dei monumenti italiani la struttura "Nome (Città)" (ed ho perso mesi a rinominare tutte le mie categorie create con la formula "Nome in Città", e non ho ancora finito di farlo...).
La mia richiesta mira unicamente ad uniformare i criteri di creazioni dei nomi, che sono svariatissimi al limite del capriccio - quanti mesi ci serviranno per disfare il lavoro fatto con iniziative "creative" come questa, da parte di autori che rifiutano di risponderti quando scrivi loro per coordinare i criteri e perseverano fregandosene di tutto e tutti?), ma senza preferenze mie personali. Ho lasciato così indifferentemente la formula "Duomo (Città)" e quella "Cathedral (Città)", ma anche "Nomedellachiesa (città)" quando il nome della cattedrale era il più noto (esempio: Santa Maria del Fiore) e perfino "NameofthechurchinEnglish (Città)" quando la forma inglese prevaleva su quella italiana (esempio: San Pietro a Roma). Ma ho pensato che ben quattro criteri fossero già più che sufficienti. Ho quindi eliminato tutte le forme ibride, tipo (esempio): "Città, Duomo"; "Città, Cathedral"; "Città, Nomedellachiesa"; "Attributodellachiesa nomedellachiesa, Città" "Duomo di nomedellachiesa (Città)", "Cathedral of nomedellachiesa (Città)"; "Città - Nomedellachiesa", ed altre ancora (non esiste un limite alla fantasia creativa - e quindi al caos).
Ho inoltre soppresso la forma italiana "Duomo di", tradotta in inglese pari pari come "Duomo of", dato che non è usata in nessuna altra categoria di Commons ("Chiesa di Santa Teresa a Milano" è categorizzato 'sempre come "Santa Teresa (Milan)", e se la forma preferita dagli inglesi è "Saint Paul, London" (con la virgola e zenza la parentesi - qui c'è una differenza fra it:wiki ed en:wiki che si è riverberata su Commons), ma senza traccia di "of"). Per farla breve, si è trattato solo di uniformare i criteri diminuendo il numero di quelli già presenti onde diminuire il caos, e non di introdurne di nuovi di mia invenzione.
Quanto alle discussioni, ho cercato più e più volte in passato di farne una, ma gli italiani rifiutano sempre qualsiasi forma di accordo ed ognuno fa a modo suo con criteri suoi. Se vuoi che ne apriamo una, non chiedo altro, purché lo scopo sia stabilire criteri generali per tutte le categorie relative all'Italia (in modo da sapere a colpo sicuro come va categorizzata ogni immagine senza dover controllare volta per volta quale fantasioso nome di categoria sia stato escogitato per lei sola), e non solo per i duomi, o non solo per i duomi della Campania, o non per il solo duomo di Avellino, o non solo per le foto del Duomo di Avellino caricate da un singolo utente fregandosene del resto del mondo. Commons è un progetto collaborativo, e la collaborazione non è un optional. In questo momento sarei felice se riuscissi a convincere gli italiani a non caricare immagini in violazione del diritto d'autore, che mi tocca poi mettere in cancellazione beccandomi gli insulti degli uploader, ma la speranza di riuscire a fare capire che le regole servono non mi è morta.
Sono quindi a tua disposizione. E' da anni che lavoro da solo alla categorizzazione (gli italiani non sanno l'inglese, e quindi nel dubbio le categorie proprio non ce le mettono), e qualsiasi apporto per condividere e quindi suddividere il lavoro è più che benvenuto: direi che sia anzi desiato. - Be', ovviamente lo so che tutte le discussioni possono essere ridiscusse, ma io non ho la voglia di infilarmi nel processo lungo e macchinoso di rovesciare una decisione. Quindi mi sono adattato alla richiesta, ed ho fatto prima così.
- La mia esigenza è quella di catalogare a colpo d'occhio le migliaia e migliaia di immagini dell'Italia sbattute su Commons senza categoria (ogni tanto mi metto lì con il motore di ricerca interno e "faccio" una città italiana. Ci metto anche due o tre giorni, se è grande). Per questo a me serve avere un criterio, quale che sia, per sapere ogni volta in anticipo quale sia la categoria senza andarle a controllare, una per una, ogni volta. Mi è indifferente che la regola dica che si scrive "Duomo (Milan)" oppure "Duomo, Milan" o "Milan Duomo", mi basta solo che la regola dica che si fa in quel modo e non in 27 altri modi diversi, e che quindi io sappia ricavare la categoria partendo dal nome della chiesa e da quello della città, e basta. Quindi mi sono adattato, ed ora vado avanti così. Tutto è migliorabile, ma anche qui "il meglio è nemico del bene". PRIMA facciamo il lavoro di catalogazione, per il quale ci servono categorie che non cambino ogni sei giorni, e POI, alla fine, potremo incaricare un bot di rifare tutto con nuovi criteri. Ma per ora, per favore, let's stick to what we have already... Please.
- Non credo che ci sia qualcosa che non va nel software, credo che sia il metodo di Wikipedia ad essere demenziale. E' un metodo inventato e rodato per costruire software, ma non va affatto bene per gestire enciclopedie, che non sono software. Tuttavia, daccapo, "il meglio è nemico del bene", e almeno Wikipedia esiste. Tutti coloro che "avrebbero saputo fare di meglio", invece, non hanno mai mosso un dito. Quindi anche io, come te, per ora mi accontento di quanto c'è, pur vedendone i difetti. A perfezionare c'è sempre tempo. Per ora iniziamo a costruire le basi. Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]][[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Immagine importata male
Ciao, scrivo a te perché sei amministratore sia di commons che di it.wiki e perché non so bene dove andare a porre questo tipo di problemi. Ho notato che la foto: File:Palazzo Mondadori 04.JPG è stata importata male da it.wiki, nel registro originale di caricamento infatti c'è scritto che la foto aveva una risoluzione pari a 3872×2592 ora è stata portata a soli 800 × 536, sarebbe bello poterla ripristinare alla risoluzione massima, inoltre ho scoperto che tale foto è presente con la risoluzione originale su questo sito e scaricandola sul mio computer ho notato che nei metadati del file (che dall'accuratezza è difficile siano stati falsati) c'è scritto che il copiright è di tal Simone Comi che molto probabilmente è questo fotografo, l'utente che ha caricato la foto, Luciomon, non dovrebbe dimostrare di essere quella persona?--dega180 (talk) 18:53, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Piccolissima correzione di template
Ciao, non so dove si può fare questo tipo di richieste dunque la faccio ad un admin di common che conosco, per esempio te :-) Se vai a vedere la licenza di questo file noterai che il testo si conclude con quattro trattini che non c'entrano niente. Il problema deriva dal fatto che nel relativo template: Template:PD-ineligible/layout sono inseriti sia i quatto trattini che <hr /> che fanno la stessa cosa, cioè aggiungere una linea orizzontale. Se togli i quattro trattini dal template e lasci solo l'<hr /> il problema si dovrebbe risolvere. Grazie!--dega180 (talk) 20:13, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

Ciao Jaqen, ti devo chiedere una cortesia, puoi per favore chiudere questa procedura di cancellazione prima che le immagini vengano cancellate? perché un utente per ripicca ora ha aggiunto del "Cancellare" senza argomentare. Di queste cancellazioni, si è discusso nel bar italiano, le avrai viste, e sono in stallo, tuttavia queste due precise categorie fanno parte della massiva campagna indiscriminata di cancellazioni che è stata ritenuta da "controllare" in particolare oggetti di disegno industriale che qui vengono messi in cancellazione, e invece sono accettati su commons. Ti chiedo questa cortesia, temo solo che qualcuno passi e cancelli e sarebbe un ennesimo errore. ciao grazie.
