[edit] File:Rio de Janeiro - Pão de Açucar - Cablecar.jpg
Hi. Could you please try to find a presentation layout that suits you and that relies on the standard language templates (like description)? Some internationalization tools need them and you're preventing them from working. Regards, --Eusebius (talk) 06:51, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi, in order to keep the original picture accessible, I've re-uploaded your modification at File:Rio de Janeiro - Pão de Açucar - Cablecar (resampled and denoised).jpg. That way, people can use either version of the image. I think it's best to leave the original file untouched, especially since it's been promoted as a valued image. Best wishes. –Tryphon☂ 18:49, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] File:H1N1_map.svg
Hi João, I'm sorry but I reverted the change you made to this image. I agree that your style and colouration is much better, but the changes you made were done with an image editor. Previously, we had been editing the file using a text editor. This makes it much easier to maintain, because when a new country needs to be coloured, it merely needs to be added to the CSS definitions area at the top of the file. If we were to keep this new version, it would be required to edit the file with an image editor and fill countries, which is harder to maintain and which would bloat the file size. Perhaps we could implement a new colour scheme on the file while maintaining the CSS definitions? I copy the current CSS definitions below, to make it obvious what I'm talking about. --Oldak Quill 16:05, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
/* Confirmed infections with death */ .mx { fill: #751012; }
/* Confirmed infections */ .ca, .es, .gb, .il, .nz, .us { fill: #cd3412; }
/* Unconfirmed infections */ .ar, .au, .br, .ch, .cl, .co, .cr, .de, .dk, .fr, .gt, .hk, .ie, .kr, .no, .pe, .pl, .pt, .ru, .th { fill: #eaa912; }
- Hi. Using CSS definitions is not just my view. This is how the file was being edited before I began editing it and it is what a number of editors have used. Not everyone has an SVG image editor, but everyone has a text editor. Using fill, especially on countries with many islands, is time-consuming and is hard to remove if the country changes status. Since each country already has ID tags, the whole country can be coloured by adding it to CSS definitions. Also, using fill bloats the file size and the fill-feature in different image editors produces different code, leading to a messy file. --Oldak Quill 16:30, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] File:Michael Jackson in 2005.jpg
| Critically evaluate Flickr licenses | File:Michael Jackson in 2005.jpg has been marked as a copyright violation. You may have preserved the information shown on Flickr correctly when transferring the image here, but the Flickr uploader is not the copyright holder of this image. Either the image was created by someone else, or it is a derivative of someone else's work. As stated in Commons:Licensing, only the copyright holder may issue a license, so the one shown on Flickr is invalid.
Always remember to critically evaluate Flickr licenses. Photostreams with professional-looking photographs, album covers, posters, and images in a wide range of styles or quality taken by many different cameras often indicate that the Flickr uploader either does not understand or does not care about copyright matters. ==Your financial crisis 2007-2008 map
Nice map. But this map is based on non-factual estimates made in December 2008. Factual data for 1st half of 2009 is completely different, so your map is misleading. You do great maps so please could you make a new map for this topic based on factual data for the first half of 2009?Chumchum7 (talk) 07:15, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Your map "File:Mercosul.svg" includes Venezuela as a member state; but it appears Venezuela hasn't been fully ratified, so it should be shaded differently. thanks 96.49.149.158 01:57, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

The File:Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic banner.jpg which you uploaded has been tagged OTRS pending for more than 30 days. This tag indicates that an email setting out permission to use the file was sent to the OTRS team. Unless the OTRS team receives evidence that permission has been granted within 15 days of today's date, the file will be deleted. If you have already sent the permission, please re-send it to "permissions-commons

Hello Felipe Menegaz!
Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Commons images are used by editors on many projects in many languages. Each image is put into categories. This helps other editors find them. Please add categories to each image you upload.
To add an image to a category, add the following code to the end of the page.
-
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbit of comets, add the following to the image description page:
-
-
This will make the diagram show up in the categories: Astronomy diagrams, Comets.
For further information on categories read Commons:Categories.
The CommonSense Tool often helps you find the best category for your image.
Here is a gallery of your images. Please check that each image has a category. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the help desk. Thank you.

[edit] Brazilian States by Education index.svg

- 1) Vermelho: Amazonas, Roraima, Pará, Amapá, Maranhão, Piauí, Cearé, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Alagoas e Sergipe.
- 2) Verde: Tocantins, Goiás (sem o DF) e Minas Gerais.
- 3) Cinza: Distrito Federal.
- 4) Azul: Acre, Rondônia, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul e São Paulo.
- 5) Laranja: Bahia, Espírito Santo e Rio de Janeiro.
- 6) Amarelo: Paraná e Santa Catarina.
- 7) Rosa: Rio Grande do Sul.
As cores são sugestões, podendo ser mudadas sem problemas.
Em cada uma das sete "regiões" é preciso identificar uma cidade
- 1) Recife
- 2) Belo Horizonte
- 3) Brasília
- 4) São Paulo
- 5) Rio de Janeiro
- 6) Curitiba
- 7) Porto Alegre
E então... muito complicado? Me expliquei bem? Abraço, Dantadd✉ 16:19, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
