[edit] Question on one of your pictures

Hi I had a question on the picture you uploaded, the one with the German soldiers in front of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris: most of them look very old. Could you give me any information on their ages, on why they were in the army or whatever you wish to tell me? I'm a newbe writer and interested in history and the age of soldiers in WW2 is a big question of mine....thank you!

When you upload images to the Commons please add them to a category or article so other users are able to find and use these images !

No probs - thanks for uploading all these excellent images! The World War II main "parent" cat was a mess, as there were/are many images that simply had no where to go. Hopefully resolved now. To add an image to a category, add the following code to the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbit of comets, add the following to the image description page:

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories: Astronomy diagrams, Comets.
