K, if you use the basic upload form you can add the information very quickly directly with the upload. With your upload methode the "Own work" will be written forever in the upload log and so it is written for all times on the file description (section: #Historique_du_fichier). --Martin H. (talk) 17:36, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
You're right. It's a better method. I'll use it now. Thanks. Jospe (talk) 17:41, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Église St-Pantaléon de Gueberschwihr[edit]

If you don't object, we could delete File:Église St-Pantaléon de Gueberschwihr - nef.JPG IMHO. --Túrelio (talk) 21:21, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Of course. It's OK. Jospe (talk) 09:38, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

Tip: Categorizing images[edit]

Hello, Jospe!

Tip: Add categories to your images

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

Uploadwizard-categories.png

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations"). Pro-tip: The CommonSense tool can help you find the best category for your image.

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

Category:Nicolas_Oudinot[edit]

Commons-emblem-issue.svg Category:Nicolas_Oudinot has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.

In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

This message was added automatically by Nikbot, if you need some help about it please read the text above again and follow the links in it, if you still need help ask at the ? Commons:Help desk in any language you like to use. --Nikbot 17:37, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

L'Illustration, journal universel[edit]

Salut, Jospe. Please note that PD-Art alone is not sufficient for licensing. All such images must also be in the Public Domain in the United States but PD-Art has a copyright term of 70 years after the death of the author which does not apply to the US. Please use PD-old to indicate that images from that magazine are also PD in the United States. Regards, De728631 (talk) 13:46, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

Good afternoon. It's OK. I will use this licence for the next files. Thank you for your advice. Jospe (talk) 14:03, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

Suppression inexplicable d'informations[edit]

Merci infiniment. 81.51.1.249 19:10, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

Jean-Jacques Weiss[edit]

Bonsoir,

Weiss a été ministre plénipotentiaire. Voilà pourquoi j'avais ajouté la catégorie diplomates. Y a-t-il une meilleur catégorie ? ~Pyb (talk) 18:52, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Bonsoir,
Il semblerait que je sois passé à côté du passage de Weiss au ministère des Affaires étrangères. Effectivement, cela peut inciter à lui attribuer cette catégorie. J'annule donc mon revert. Bonne soirée, Jospe (talk) 19:06, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
