Personality right

Hi Jovianeye! I just saw you added a tag on one of my pictures. I just want to make sure with you it is right. In my perception, this tag is made for pictures of unknown people. This is a politician in the exercise of his functions. I believe it is not needed. Perhaps, you could explain it to me a little so I understand it better. I believe the addition of the tag to the image description is correct. The opening sentence of the tag reads "This work contains material which may portray one or more identifiable persons alive or deceased recently." File:Official portrait of Barack Obama.jpg does include a personality rights tag and Barack Obama is a widely identified person. First of all I must congratulate you for File:Ullal Bridge Mangalore.JPG which I really like! I notice you are contributing from 2 accounts that is User:Nithin Bolar k and User:Nithin bolar k. I can surely help you by reviewing these files. I hope you are aware that your camera sensor does have a dust spot. File:Camps Bay Beach ..., Cape Town.jpg is the best one of the four. But the image is tilted. The metadata says that the pic was taken at f/5 and 1/1250sec. You should have tried a smaller aperture like f/11 since you have good lighting and tried to increase the depth of field. File:Table Top Mountain..., Cape Town.jpg does have sufficient depth of field with f/9. The image does seem tilted but I am not sure. File:Table top Mountain 1 Cape town.jpg is pretty well composed but the colours do look washed out. A contrast adjustment would be useful here. File:Chapmans Drive ..., Cape Town.jpg is tilted. Turtle species identification

Thanks for contacting me. I don't edit too much so I don't know most of the tricks of the trade. I do research on turtles so I like to think I know a little something about them but I don't think it's fair for me to try to get my way without explanation (although I have done a bunch of reidentifications here and elsewhere and I usually just change it at first without taking too much time to explain since most people who take pictures just made a best guess at an ID and don't seem to mind a correction). Anyway, Sliders are popular pet turtles (mostly Red-eared sliders but also Yellow-Bellies) and have been introduced all over the world from Canada to Spain to Japan. So they will turn up anywhere, especially at zoos who often recieve unwanted pets. As it happens there are already pictures of sliders from the Smithsonian on Commons: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Pond_Sliders_at_Smithsonian_National_Zoological_Park_in_Washington.jpg and in that case there should be absolutely no question about their identity since they all have the red "ears" of the T.s.elagans subspiecies (although one is clearly a hybrid with Yellow-belly). In the case of your picture, despite it being a very nice photo, it is difficult to cite some of the better definitive characters as they are not visible (pattern of lines on top of the head, shape of the chin in head on view, full pattern and colour of the plastron). Oh yeah, and Red-bellies also have red rather than yellow transverse marks on the carapace. Anyway, now that I have demonstrated that there are sliders at the Smithsonian, despite their absence from the species list on the website, I hope that you will accept my determination based on experience/"eyeballing" as well as the characters that I listed in my last edit.
