[edit] Re:SVG, grids, fonts

Thank you for all of the information and the link. I'm a bit new to all of this vector stuff, so I appreciate all of the help I can get! I'll let you know how it all goes—hopefully I won't have to keep bothering people ;-) Cheers, ɪkiɾɔɪd | talk 20:22, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi! I hate to bother you, but I'd like to use this file on English Wikipedia, but I need someone to check over my work, and possibly to expand on it, if you feel like the extra work. There's an excellent place for it in en:Music of South Korea - and at en:WP:Featured sounds, if you ask me =)

Can you help? It would be nice if we could translate the lyrics, but that's not entirely necessary - the main thing is to make sure we've gotten everything else right =) Adam Cuerden (talk) 04:26, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Right =) I'm starting to organise a mini-project to do the translation. =) Some of the slang is explained here, which may well help, and I have some experience in fitting translations to music, so I can probably make a singable English version given a literal translation. =) Caspian blue did the first verse - I believe that's the easy one - so let's see what we can do =) Adam Cuerden (talk) 14:34, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Hello!

«(tweak according to w:en:Talk:International Phonetic Alphabet)»

Could you please point me to the precise bit of this very long talk you’re referring to?

Thanks. Cestlogique (talk) 20:38, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Thank you! Well, I understand your concern about the stress mark which is rather uncommon in [ ] transcriptions of french, but if we keep the transcription [ ], the quantity should remain, or else there would be no difference with the / / transcription. The quantity of french stressed vowels can be determined from rules and hasn’t got a phonemic value anymore so it doesn’t appear in phonemic transcriptions but should be added to phonetic ones. I would suggest choosing between /eboʃ/ and [eboːʃ] .
