Penamaan Kategori[edit]

Penamaan kategori dengan format nama desa, nama propinsi apakah sudah mengantisipasi nama-nama desa yang sama, sebagai contoh, nama Wates digunakan sebagai nama desa di kabupaten Blitar, kabupaten Kediri dan kabupaten Kulonprogo. 2 kabupaten yang pertama ada di propinsi Jawa Timur, yang terakhir ada di propinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penamaan kategori yang saya lakukan mengikuti contoh kategori pada proyek id:Wiki.. perlu saran anda lebih lanjut.

Hai..trims udah ditambahin description, soalnya kok langsung masuk di bawah kategori mau dihapus, mau ditambahin description ndak bisa, diupload override ndak bisa, dihapus ndak bisa. Trims banget. Soal taman nasional jangan terlalu memuji deh, ntar aku besar kepala, kebetulan aja kok sama temen2 lagi doyan main2 ke sana. Kalo yang foto nasi liwet, setahuku itu bukan bentuk kesenian tradisional, awalnya para penyanyi tersebut mengiringi bentuk2 pertunjukan tradisional Jawa, seperti wayang, tari bedhoyo ketawang dll.. penyanyi itu disebut sinden. Nah, para sinden tersebut kemudian menyanyi di luar bentuk standar tradisi mereka, maka apa yang mereka lakukan disebut nyinden, yaitu menyanyikan lagu tradisional Jawa atau biasa disebut nembang langgam Jawa. Questions about a picture[edit]

Hi, Midori!

I'm a Brazilian Wikipedia editor. I'm editing the article about tapioca, and I've found this picture taken by you. Although tapioca is used a lot here, we have never seen such a use. What is in this picture? Is this a candy made from tapioca? Or is it salty? Is it eaten as is, or is used mainly as an ingredient for other foods?

If you can help us to answer this question, I'd be very thankful. Since I do not have a Commons account yet, I'd ask you to answer me at my talk page at the Portuguese Wikipedia.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Could you please either upload Gili Islands & Gunung Rinjiani, Lombok, Indonesia.jpg to wikitravel images or alternatively let me know the correct proceedure for doing this so I don't create any usage issues. Can I just upload it to wikitravel images myself and attribute (as per the metadate and the Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic license) or is there some other way I should be doing this. Geographic categories[edit]

Hi Midori, I just noted you moved some of the Rivers of Kalimantan categories to subcategories by provinces. I think as a general rule geographic categories like rivers, mountains, vulcanoes, fauna, etc should be primarily categorized by geographic regions. Categorization of these by administrative subdivision (i.e. provinces) is also ok, but should not replace the primary geographic categories. I just implemented this system at Category:Rivers of Java. I think this is more comprehensive and useful for the international reader, and avoids confusion resulting from changing province boundaries or rivers running through multiple provinces. By fauna and flora I even doubt that categories by province would make much sense. Let me know what do you think. --Elekhh (talk) 11:45, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your pictures of this little treat that I have not eaten for a long time (I live in the US). I mostly write for the Belanda wiktionary. In Dutch kaasstengel is the singular and kaasstengels the plural. Could you tell me how this is done in the Indonesian language? Your file says kastengel, but the Indonesian wikipedia uses kaasstengels.

Freedom of Panorama[edit]

Itulah masalahnya Midori-san, ada beberapa pengguna di wikimedia commons yang terlalu "anal" alias terlalu usil, ketat dan sangat menyebalkan dalam mempermasalahkan freedom of panorama di Indonesia. Saya setuju jika urusan fredom of panorama ini diabaikan saja karena kerugiannya adalah akan banyak sekali foto tentang Indonesia yang harus dihapus dari wikimedia commons. Yang rugi adalah kebebasan informasi dan kehilangan banyak aset berharga bagi wikimedia commons. Saran saya: tulis pendapat Anda di deletion discussion hubungi si pemasang tag deletion dan jelaskan padanya kerugian terlalu menuruti "the soo called freedom of panorama". Saya juga pernah berurusan dengan salah satu pengguna commons yang sangat usil dan terlalu ketat mempersoalkan freedom of panorama ini, beberapa file foto yang telah saya upload di delete. Saat itu saya malas dan ogah berurusan dengan orang rese' dan menyebalkan macam ini, yang saya lakukan adalah bergerilya :P yaitu .., Saran kedua: jika file itu sudah dihapus, upload ulang file yang sama dengan nama file yang sedikit berbeda misalnya diberi nomor 1 atau 2. Saya setuju dengan saran Midori-san untuk memperjuangkan mengubah tafsiran FOP Indonesia dari Not OK menjadi OK. Kalau tidak diperjuangkan maka banyak foto-foto dari Indonesia terancam dihapus dan warisan kita akan hilang. Saya pikir tidak ada masalah freedom of panorama bagi markah tanah dan karya seni purba yang sudah berusia tua, (misalnya candi Borobudur abad ke-9 atau arca Prajnaparamita abad ke-13) karena sudah menjadi milik publik atau penciptanya telah meninggal dunia lamaaa sekali, dan hak ciptanya menjadi milik negara dan menjadi ranah publik (publik domain). Yang menjadi masalah adalah gedung (karya arsitektur), patung, atau karya seni yang relatif baru berusia dibawah 50 tahun. Saya telah mencoba menyoroti Bagian 5 pengecualian hak cipta, pasal 15 butir (ii) mengenai penampilan karya dalam pameran atau pagelaran yang untuk menyaksikannya tidak dipungut biaya (gratis) tidak dianggap sebagai pelanggaran hak cipta. Artinya jika suatu karya ditampilkan di ruang publik tanpa dipungut biaya (bersifat non-komersial) dikecualikan. Salam kenal pak Midori. Saya merasa resah dengan penghapusan pada foto2 gedung dan patung yang ada di commons, kesian kan temen2 yang sudah foto-foto kesana kemari akhirnya harus KO. Padahal saya baru rencana ambil foto gedung-gedung di Semarang langsung hilang semangat. Kalau sudut pandang saya begini pak, Pasal 12 yang menjadi dasar pelarangan FOP memang benar bahwa itu melanggar hak cipta, namun coba perhatikan pada ketentuan umumnya dulu pada pasal 1, ayat 6 disebutkan bahwa "Perbanyakan adalah penambahan jumlah sesuatu Ciptaan, baik secara keseluruhan maupun bagian yang sangat substansial dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan yang sama ataupun tidak sama, termasuk mengalihwujudkan secara permanen atau temporer."

Dari ayat tersebut saya tidak melihat bahwa pembuatan foto melanggar hak cipta terhadap penciptaan barang tersebut, yang dilarang adalah melakukan perbanyakan/penggandaan tanpa ijin. Kecuali foto orang malah diatur secara jelas pada pasal 19-21. Jadi menurut saya untuk aturan di Indonesia masih memberikan ijin untuk pengambilan gambar/foto untuk patung dan bangunan arsitektur yang memiliki hak cipta.
