If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|cc-by-sa-3.0}} to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Castelao

Hola, Mutxamel. Lo siento, pero el escudo de Castelao que has subido a Commons debería ser borrado. Aunque tú lo has trazado de nuevo, es una copia del creado por gl:Castelao, y como tal, está aún sujeto a copyright. --Xabier Cid (talk) 09:17, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Escut de València

Ei, en Sancho ha tornat l'escut de València al disseny anterior de corona habitual. Jo també crec que es més correcte. Diguessim que l'altre es una llicència barroca que puntualment per l'escut de rei pot estar bé però per estendre-ho a un altre escut, com el de la ciutat, aleshores necessitariem una definició de l'escut que ho especifiqués i no es gaire habitual. Que a la bandera hi figuri aquest model no es motiu per extendre-ho a l'escut. --HansenBCN (talk) 10:51, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Sobre la bandera, com és que finalment t'has decidit per un blau clar a totes les variants? No sería més adient un blau normal? Per utilitzar un blau més clar hauríem de partir d'una definició -a poder ser oficial- que ho especifiqués clarament. --HansenBCN (talk) 13:04, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Regionalismos

Hola, me gustaría advertirte de la presencia de un pequeño error en tu mapa de los regionalismos de España. Valle de Villaverde, enclave de Cantabria en Vizcaya, no aparece como tal y esto debería ser subsanado. Muchas gracias. --62.42.47.229 22:16, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Un valencià

Acabo de perder más de diez minutos de mi tiempo corrigiendo las sistemáticas faltas de ortografía de user:Un valencià. Como veo que tú también has tenido esa "grata" tarea hace un tiempo, te lo comento.

Hola, Mutxamel. Molt bon treball en este mapa, però volia comentar-te que, si no m'enganyen els ulls, has deixat fora dels territoris de parla catalana tot l'Alt Vinalopó, quan en realitat la mitat est (Biar, Beneixama, la Canyada i Camp de Mirra) són històricament i de fet valencianoparlants. Mapa comunidad valenciana

Hola Mutxamel. Creo que deberías cortarte un poco a la hora de sobreescribir trabajos de otras personas, esto sólo debe hacerse para pequeños cambios, si el resultado es muy distinto sería mejor que crearas archivos nuevos. Un ejemplo en el mapa Comunidad Valenciana-loc, que era un mapa de municipios y tu lo has sustituido por un mapa de comarcas, son dos cosas distintas. Entre otras cosas ya no cuadra ni el nombre del archivo, que indica "loc", lo que ya no es cierto.--Moríñigo (talk) 12:17, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Yo no digo que no haya un mapa de comarcas, me parece una información útil, pero para eso no hace falta borrar los municipios. Se puede poner la triple frontera, aunque quizá quedaría poco claro, o dejarlo como 2 mapas distintos.--Moríñigo (talk) 13:06, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Jefe

En heráldica, el jefe es exactamente 1/3 del ancho. Ud. es libre de crear los ficheros que considere, pero en los que yo creo y respondo por tanto por ellos, evito especialmente inducir a engaño al personal. Hola company, volia fer un petit comentari, no per fer cap modificació, si no per fer-ho costar. En aquest escut la bandera va cap al cantó que no toca. Per defecte, el vol de la bandera va cap la sinistra de l'escut. Ja se que la represtenció oficial és així, però crec que no hauríem de transmetre els errors a l'heràldica. El que diu adalt el SPXXI és cert, un cap té un gruix de 1/3 de l'ample, igual que el peu (campaña en castellà). Xavigivax (talk) 08:09, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Flags

Could you please revert your uploads of flags of the Netherlands. "FIAV colours" doesn't mean a lot, yellow is yellow (and not some almost orange colour). If you want to upload your interpretation, please do that under a seperate filename (like File:Gelderland-Flag (FIAV colours).svg etc.). --129.125.102.126 02:17, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

In my opinion a flag (and a coat of arms) should be recognizable, compare for example http://www.gelderland.nl/favicon.ico with . It is rather obvious that the province uses other colours than FIAV, they are so different that I hardly recognize your flag as the flag of Gelderland. Well, if you are determined to force the FIAV-colours onto commons, could you at least restore the originals to filenames like File:Gelderland-Flag (provincial colours).svg? --129.125.102.126 12:52, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Why would I need a law for exact colours. Flags don't have an exact colour (in the extreme case there are quantum mechanics: if one sees a flag, its pigments will change), but in this case the FIAV colours are much too different. I don't ask you to change the FIAV-colours, I only ask you to restore the image you have overwritten (I don't care a lot if it is restored under another name). http://www.gelderland.nl/ is the website of the province, http://www.fiav.org/ is the website of an amateur organization (amateur in the sense "doing it for the love, not for money"). Please let wikipedias decide about the colours, do not force a decision onto them by overwriting the flag as used by the province. --129.125.102.126 18:52, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Hola company, estem creant una col·lecció d'escuts catalans amb criteris diferents al THV de can es. Entre d'altres, sls canvis radiquen en una nova paleta de colors, fer servir figures i mobles de l'estil local i no qualsevol disseny. Volem aprofitar el nom català, o sigui "Escut de xxxx.svg" i he canviat l'escut de Cardedeu que el vas iniciar tu.
