Hey Amit, I just blocked you for.. ...well.. ..sort of.. ..spamming the talk pages of dozens of templates. We know that these pages are useful, no need to state it. Especially not with huge colored signatures, and especially not if your post does not not contain any constructive contribution to the discussion. I'll unblock you as soon as you acknowledge receiving this message, but pleas refrain from these kinds of mass postings. Thanks! --Dschwen (talk) 17:05, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

On a related matter: try to keep the use of HTML to a minimum. It makes the WikiText hard to read (plus the chance of breaking the layout increases, like on this page where you seem to have unbalanced tags). --Dschwen (talk) 17:11, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

User:Myrecovery/My Relatives

Hi,

I just saw this page.

Do you kwon it is not so smart to place a emailadres on the internet. There are spambot's on the internet that harvest those and sents a lot of spam to it. If you wish the page can be deleted, please come to my talkpage and i will remove the page. It is possible to place the emails in a image. A image can not be harvested. Cheers, Sterkebaktalk 19:16, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

I agree with you. Yesterday (10.22.08) I posted a new message to my blog with my Email address. Today (10.23.08) I saw some spam in my Email account.--Amit Gomes (talk) 13:52, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Have I resolved this problem by replacing "GFDL" by "See below..."?--Myrecovery (talk) 14:47, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

I think I have resolved this problem. Myrecovery (Talkcontribscount)

Rose curves

Dear Myrecovery, the images show a rose curve, therefore it has to be categorized there. It is also subcategorized under curves, hence under geometry, and also under polar coordinate system. It is not necessary to categorize them directly there. The category geometry should not be assigned to any picture, this only fills up the main category geometry and does not help in finding anything. Best regards, --Darapti (talk) 21:38, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Hello Amit6!

Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Commons images are used by editors on many projects in many languages. Each image is put into categories. This helps other editors find them. Please add categories to each image you upload.

To add an image to a category, add the following code to the end of the page.

[[Category:Category Name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbit of comets, add the following to the image description page:

[[Category:Astronomy diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories: Astronomy diagrams, Comets.

For further information on categories read Commons:Categories.

The CommonSense Tool often helps you find the best category for your image.

Here is a gallery of your images. Please check that each image has a category. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the help desk. Thank you.
