Hello! You've translated 市章 and 町章 as "symbol of the city" and "symbol of the town". Actually your translation is wrong because of 2 reasons. Firstly, "symbol" is a 象徴, not a章. The 章 is better to translate as "an emblem" or "a coat of arms", rater then "symbol". Secondly, cities and towns of Japan have many symbols like trees, flowers and so, thus your translation of 章 as "a symbol" is a little bit confusing.
