Thanks you for your message. I've sent today an email to Dennis Mojado requesting permission for the cc-by-2.0 copyright tag. He was so gracious to give me his permission to use this tag to ALL the photos I've uploaded in the past:

I don't know which photos were brought to the Commons, since I've uploaded perhaps fifty of his photos. If you will looking for images from him, than type in his name in the searchbox and when you get the information "There is no page for Dennis Mojado" then click on the checkbox "Images" and search again, then you will find all photos from him. Hej Nordelch. Ich haette in der norwegischen wikipedia Verwendung fuer Dein Bild Image:WO 2087 Marbled Murrelet.jpg, allerdings mit weniger Wasser & mehr Vogel. Hast Du was dagegen, wenn ich das Bild beschneide, oder soll ich dem Ergebnis einen neuen Namen geben, so dass beide parallel existieren? Hanno 15:15, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
- Das Bild ist nicht von mir, sondern vom U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Ein neuer Name ist wohl besser, da das Bild auf anderssprachigen Wikipedias in der jetzigen Größe verwendet wird. Gruss! Nordelch 18:02, 1 November 2005 (UTC)

If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Good work on the maps of the municipalities of Sweden. However you missed one, Stockholm in Stockholm County. Thought it would be better if you did it to keep the similarities to the other Stockholm County municipalities. Cheers /Lokal Profil 21:11, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Hello Nordelch, I see you uploaded a number of photos of figures of the Prague Wax Museum. You name the GNU FDL for these figures. It strikes me that a wax museum should use this licence – typically such works of modern art are copyrighted by their authors. Photographs of such items are thus covered by the copyright of the artist. Could you provide information on the copyright status of the wax figures you uploaded photos of? I am writing regarding the picture you have placed in Commons - http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Feldhase.jpg . We, with our friends from the Otryt Association (connected with the Bieszczady mountains), have decided to trace and mark the first in the Ukrainian Bieszczady didactic route (historical-natural scientific). We have been preparing it with the Ukrainians from Old Sambor, in which neighborhood the route is going to be placed. The route consists of ten boards, some of which are devoted to fauna and flora of the Bieszczady. We would like to use the graphics mentioned above on one of the boards. Taking into consideration the limited space on the board (on which there are going to be other graphics and descriptions of the fauna/flora) we are not able to place the GNU license text there. Would the author therefore agree to place this graphic on the board giving his authorship (his full name, nickname or any other form)? I know that the photo was taken by de:User:Fmickan but he doesn't exist in Wikipedia now. Has you got his e-mail? (Especially, that I need the photo in higher resolution, 900x900 or 1200x1200).

When you move an image to commons, such as Treasure Island Map, please provide a source on who uploaded it and its originall source (me). Otherwise when it gets deleted from en.wikipedia (which it will eventually since it is now on Commons) there will be no record of who uploaded it, or its original source. Hello Nordelch. I have just modified an image of yours (Chrysoara jelly.jpg - from US NOAA) and uploaded the modification into the Commons as Radiate Oral-aboral Axes.JPG. I'm hoping to use this and other images to modify English Wikipedia entries relating to animal anatomy. My thanks for your submission, and I hope you don't mind my (admittedly minor) modification of your submission. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multilicense GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
