Hi, I was just wondering how you "make" the images of coat of arms? do you use any software or do you do it all manually?

Odejea, I love many of your blazons. I've uploaded a couple of them from French Wikipedia to Commons, and used more of them in Spanish Wikipedia. I don't understand much French, but the description of Image:Armoiries Chypre.png (d'argent, au lion de gueules, armé et lampassé de gueules) seems to include no golden crown. Is Image:Armoiries Chypre.png correct or is it another version of Image:Blason Léon.png (with a different crown)? J'ai eu du mal à saisir le phénomène que vous décriviez. En fait, la partie hors blason de l'image est en couleur de transparence et est visualisé différemment selon les navigateurs.
  • Sous Mozilla Firefox, c'est une série de carrés gris et blancs
  • Sous IE6, j'ai un fond gris à la page image, et un fond blanc à la page article.

Bonjour!

Je trouve sur la page Maison de Bauffremont la description du blason, avec notamment pour I 2 et IV 2: " de gueules à l'aigle d'or (Vienne) chargé sur son estomac d'un écusson de sable à trois tête de léopard d'argent (Listenois)".

A côté se trouve l'image d'un blason sur lequel l'aigle est sur fond bleu(donc d'azur et non de gueules). Je crois que tu as participé à la réalisation de l'image.

Peux-tu s'il te plait vérifier s'il y a contradiction, et le cas échéant envisager la conduite à suivre? (je ne saurais pas retoucher un dessin, et si c'est un mot à changer, il sera plus simple de le changer toi-même que de me dire de le faire...)

Bonjour,

Ton blason de Barcelonnette présente un "palé de gueules et d'or" (on cite en premier la couleur la plus à gauche - à dextre pour les puristes) là où tu annonces un "palé d'or et de gueules". Je viens juste de trouver que sur fr.wikipedia dans l'article d'Arlon l'image armoiries_comté_luxembourg.png était utilisé alors que la description de la page donnait un blazonnement différent. J'ai donc rapidement modifié un de tes fichiers (armoiries_luxembourg_ancien.png) et lié à cet article. J'espère que tu n'y vois aucun inconvénient (je n'ai plus mes vieux fichiers pour construire mes propres dessins et ne suis qu'en train de me créer une nouvelle base de donnée). Thanks for the advice but I think that's a bit of a broad statement. IMO, it stems from the fact that the owner of heraldique-europeene lacks the correct clipart to display any other birds except ducks(!) Craigy 16:24, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Take a look at this link. Leudelange, this is the official site of a Luxembourgish municipality, using a copy of the official image and based on the blazoning: d'or à l'ours de sable au chef de gueules chargé de trois merlettes d'argent. The french merlette is of course the englsih martlet. I could probably find a dozen other examples (Armorials, or Heraldic Artists, not just individual arms). Personally I'm using a drawing based on a swift (then again, I almost exclusively deal with medieval arms) and dislike the duck like looks, but Arnaud Bunel (of Héraldique Européenne) is not the only one to use these.--Caranorn 13:03, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

(copying my comment at en Wikipedia) You've created Image:Armoiries Anjou Constantinople.png for his coat of arms during his first marriage, but I've read an article in JSTOR (Gerola, G. The Burlington Magazine for Connoisseurs (1928) 53 288, 293–295) which describes an enamelled casket once owned by the couple. The arms of Thamar are described as "a double-headed eagle or upon a field gules", rather than the Imperial device in the figure you've made. Also, looking at the illustration of the casket, the label in Philip's coat of arms is placed over the bend, not vice-versa. You may wish to correct it to conform to this historical example. Bonjour, on a constaté un problème de catégorisation relaté à des templates qui catégorisent automatiquement. Il m'a pris quelque temps (et des changements que vous pouvez au besoin défaire dans quelques edits de blasons) avant de découvrir que votre template Odejea/blason contient le template Insignia qui met tous vos blasons dans la surcatégorie Category:Insignia, surchargeant cette catégorie-racine. Voulez-vous étudier la possibilité d'enlever Insignia de votre template blason ou de le remplacer de façon que la catégorie Insignia n'est plus produit automatiquement? Bonjour. Je pense que l'avertissement {{Insignia}} a sa place sur tous les blasons, donc il ne me paraît pas pertinent de l'enlever de mon modèle, car il faudrait l'ajouter pour chaque blason, ce qui reviendrait au mêm problème. Peut-être faut-il enlever la catégorisation de ce modèle ?

Pourquoi ne pas réaliser directement les blasons en SVG, en suivant les recommandations de fr:Projet:Blasons/Création ? Cela rendrait le projet plus productif et éviterait d'avoir à re-créer les mêmes blasons en SVG par la suite.

Tu sembles avoir abandonné Inkscape par manque d'informations qui auraient pu t'aider. Tu fais bien comme tu veux, mais c'est peut-être dommage. À tout hasard tu pourras jeter un œil à ma page-mémoire Trucs et astuces avec Inkscape où j'ai rassemblé quelques idées. Je n'ai jamais osé me lancer dans la rédaction d'une page didactique officielle, cela reste donc très informel et sans prétention. N'hésite pas si tu décides de t'y remettre et que tu as des questions : je suis loin de tout connaître mais je crois avoir compris le minimum vital.

Si tu le veux bien, je suis d'accord pour répondre à toutes tes questions sur l'utilisation d'Inkscape, dans la limite de mes connaissances. Je ne l'avais moi-même jamais utilisé avant de réaliser mon premier blason. La première difficulté est la modification des calques verrouillés. Pour afficher la liste des calques, faire « Calque/Calques » ([Ctrl]+[Maj]+[L] chez moi). On pourra mettre à jour le guide fr:Projet:Blasons/Création au fur et à mesure.

Bonjour ! J'ignorais que le département n'avait pas pris ce blason officiellement. Du coup, je me suis fondée simplement sur le nombre d'occurrences (une image était plus utilisée que l'autre). Plus généralement, le problème avec les blasons est que souvent, le nom du fichier comporte le nom d'une famille/ville/etc. revendiquant ces armes. Évidemment, deux familles/etc. ou plus peuvent avoir les mêmes armes, ce qui engendre des doublons. L'idéal serait à mon avis que le nom des blasons reflète seulement le blasonnement, ce qui serait beaucoup plus "neutre".

Pour en revenir au problème qui nous occupe là, est-ce que le nom pose problème ? Est-ce que tu souhaites qu'on inverse (on garde Image:Blason_comte_fr_Bigorre.svg au lieu de Image:Blason_dpt_fr_HautesPyrenees.svg) ?

Dans un cas comme Image:Armoiries Sardaigne 1831.svg je ne crois pas qu'il y ait beaucoup de doublons :-) Je pense évidemment aux blasons relativement simples. Après, il est sans doute difficile de trouver un nom à la fois concis et non-ambigu.
L'auteur de Image:Blason comte fr Bigorre.svg est le même que Image:Blason_dpt_fr_HautesPyrenees.svg, donc il n'y a pas de problème (à ma connaissance) pour les droits d'auteur.
De manière générale, est-ce que les collectivités locales françaises ont des blasons officiels ? Est-ce qu'il y a un endroit sur fr: où je peux interroger les ceusses qui savent sur le nom à retenir ? Jastrow (Λέγετε) 10:09, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Je suis sur que Odejea va encore te répondre, mais l'endroit que tu demandes sur fr. est le Projet Blasons. Je ne m'y connais pas trop en blasons officiels français, ne peut donc pas te répondre à ce point.
En ce qui concerne les noms de fichiers, je suis d'accord qu'utiliser le blasonnement serait parfois une bonne idée, mais je crois aussi que c'est beaucoup trop tard pour ce genre de changement et qu'il y aurait de bons argument contre une telle idée. En fait je crois que la solution serait de demander un changement de politique ici sur commons et d'autoriser les doublons et doublons à l'identique (je m'en suis fait effacer quatre ce weekend (et c'était tout à fait correcte d'après la politique actuelle, bien que dans l'un des cas j'aurais préféré supprimer l'image originale plutôt que le doublon)). Alternativement un système ou on pourrait indiquer les informations de l'image (nom du personnage armorié, blazon, historique, source etc.) et puis rediriger vers un autre fichier pour l'image seulement, mais là çà va dans le technique.--Caranorn 11:32, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Le gonfanon du pape (ou basilica) devrait etre avec girons d'or et de gueules (ombrelle à galons de gueules et d'or) comme dans l'image Ombrellino-keys.svg Ombrellino-keys.svg. [edit] Coat of arms of Cerdanya (Cerdagne)

I've seen you have changed the coat of arms of the region, but I find it a bit strange (like Barcelona's coat of arms). I've checked the linked web, but also is too different to what is traditional seen. I mean, there are some other webs (no description of the coat of arms) where they show the arms in a sautor quartelation (sorry for this interlanguage mix :P). That is why I think the web you linked maybe do not blazon well this coat of arms. The spanish/catalan side of the Cerdagne use well the sautor quartelation. Some examples: here, or here, this showing the official design of the council body over the territory. Je viens de voir que tu as téléchargé l'image Image:Armoiries Comtes de la Marck.svg récemment. Il me semble que tu as inversé les émaux de la fasce échiquetée. D'ailleurs j'avais déjà une image de ces armoiries en ligne sous Image:Armoiries de la Marck 1.svg et une variante sous Image:Armoiries de la Marck 2.svg. A noter, les erreurs d'inversion d'émaux sont courants chez nos collègues Allemands, mais nous disposons de meilleurs sources donc il faudrait essayer de ne pas contribuer à ces erreurs (je l'ai aussi fait au début, ou du moins j'ai douté de mes images échiquetées d'origine allemandes).--Caranorn (talk) 14:41, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Modèles d'information et de licence

Salut. J'ai remarqué que tu utilises un modèle de licence personnalisé : User:Odejea/Licences. L'utilisation de ces modèles directement dans les pages de description des images est fortement déconseillée (voir Commons:User-specific galleries, templates and categories policy#Regarding licenses), sauf si tu substitues le modèle. J'ai donc utilisé un robot pour le substituer ; auparavant, j'ai standardisé le modèle (diff) afin de le rendre davantage homogène avec les autres pages de descriptions d'image. J'espère que ça te convient.

Dans la même optique, il est nécessaire de séparer, dans ton modèle User:Odejea/Photo, la partie « description » (que tu es libre de personnaliser) et la partie « licence » (qui doit être standardisée pour les raisons évoquées ci-dessus). Il est également fortement conseillé, afin de faciliter les recherches d'images, de baser ton modèle de description sur le modèle {{Information}} (voir Commons:First steps/Quality and description#Good file descriptions et Commons:User-specific galleries, templates and categories policy#Templates). J'ai par conséquent fait ce changement (que tu es libre d'annuler). Une fois que le robot aura ajouté les licences sur toutes les pages utilisant User:Odejea/Photo, j'enlèverai la partie « licence » de cette page ; ainsi, la partie « description » et la partie « licence » seront séparées. Si tu es d'accord, je peux par la même occasion substituer ton modèle User:Odejea/Photo afin que les images utilisent directement le modèle {{information}}. Y vois-tu un inconvénient ?

PS : je viens de m'apercevoir sur ta page utilisateur que tu utilisais Special:WhatLinksHere/User:Odejea/Licences pour lier l'ensemble de tes travaux. Comme cela ne va plus fonctionner une fois que le modèle de licence aura été substitué, j'ai créé Category:Files by Odejea, que je vais ajouter aux images en substituant le modèle (exemple). Bonjour Odejea, J'ai une petite question : qu'est-ce-que ta panthère a-t-elle de plus que la mienne ?

Avant de la monter, j'avais pourtant bien lu l'article fr:Liste_des_meubles_héraldiques#Panth.C3.A8re et réalisé un monstre composé d’une tête de taureau (Là il est vrai que je me suis égaré en boucherie et j'ai dû me servir en boucherie chevaline, peut être par peur de l'fr:Encéphalopathie spongiforme bovine ! Toujours est-il que je lui ai ajouté des cornes de bovidé), un corps de lion, les pattes avant d’aigle, les pattes arrières de lion, et la queue d’un léopard. Hormis sa tête, techniquement, elle n'est pas plus fautive que la tienne. Là où je veux en venir : c'est qu'un bandeau Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Blason Ducs de Styrie.svg lui a été apposé sans qu'on prévienne l'auteur de l'image puis cette dernière a été écrasée de la même manière.

N'y a-t-il pas un petit peu d'abus ??

Salut Jimmy, je suis pas sur que Odejea réponde rapidement ici. De toute façon, la tête de cheval n'était pas fausse non plus. A l'époque du vote je ne savais pas encore que cette variante existait.
