ファースト・ステップチュートリアルユーザー登録を済ませた後、ファースト・ステップを参照すると良いでしょう。何をしたらよいか、解説してあります。そのページでは、あなたの利用者ページを使いやすくカスタマイズしたり、ファイルをアップロードする方法や、ファイルに必要なライセンスに関する基本的な説明しています。ちょっとした質問がありましたら、よくある質問も便利でしょう。ここでの活動に必要なスキルは全くありません。ここでの編集は大胆に、他のユーザーに対する善意を持って投稿してくださるようお願いします。これはwikiです -- 簡単ですよ。ヘルプが必要？ウィキメディア・コモンズで何をすれば良いか探している際には、コミュニティ・ポータルをご覧下さい。質問がありましたら井戸端で質問を出してみることも出来ます。IRCに接続できる環境があれば、チャンネル#wikimedia-commons（日本語でも可ですが、英語推奨）につないでリアルタイムの会話による問題解決も試みる事が出来ます。コモンズの管理者の会話ページで聞く事も可能です。日本語を母語とする管理者は3名おります。また、日本語を理解できる管理者も何人かいます。お急ぎの際、もしくは英語に自信の無い方は、日本語のウィキペディア・チャンネル#wikipedia-jaもご利用になれます。		ちょっと役立つヒントやコツあなたの利用者ページに、バベルボックスを置いて、どんな言語を話せるのか、どんな画像編集ツールをお持ちか、あなたの情報を載せてください。あなたがアップロードしたファイルは、こちらのギャラリーで見る事が出来ます。会話ページで意見を投稿する際には、文末に「~~~~」（チルダ4つ）を記述して、忘れずに投稿に署名をお願いします。あなたがアップロードしたファイルを、他の人に見つけてもらうには、適切なカテゴリーに入れる必要があります。適切なカテゴリーを探すには、こちらのCommonSense toolツールをご活用ください。ページに画像を表示させる場合は、画像リンク`[[File:Foo.jpg]]`を記入します。ja:Wikipedia:画像の表示もご覧下さい。ページから画像のページにリンクさせる場合、「File:」の前にコロンを一つ追加し、`[[:File:Foo.jpg]]`と記入します。このように`File:Foo.jpg`リンクが表示されるので、このクリックすると、その画面にジャンプすることが出来ます。他のウィキメディア・プロジェクトからコモンズへ画像をコピーする場合、コモンズ移行アシスタントの利用を強くお勧めいたします。間違えてしまった時は…？名前を変えたり、ファイルを移動したい時には、新しいファイルをアップロードしてから、古いファイルに`{{bad name\|新しいファイル名}}`を追加してください。あとは管理者が処理してくれます。「削除」に関する全般的な話は、削除のガイドラインをご覧ください。既に活動を開始されて経験が長い方へご挨拶が遅れてしまい、申し訳ありません。もしかしたら、既にご存知のことばかりご案内してしまったかもしれません。この文章は、ノートページに何も記入されていない利用者の方に貼付しております。これからもよろしくお願いします。

Thanks for uploading Image:Cimarosa.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|cc-by-sa-2.5}} to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you.
