In the future, please don't edit out the vernacular names in galleries such as Leucophyllum laevigatum. They are there as a memory aid for when the systematic name is unfamiliar, and as a double-check on interwikis. Stan Shebs 20:09, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi Sam916, please don't worry about my reverts. The taxobox is not used in commons because this is the central image database and its not necessary to deal with it here. The taxobox is normallly used in articles which describe the species and thats the place for a taxobox! If you want you can write an article about Mimas tiliae in a language of your choice and fill it with a taxobox! :-) BTW: Help sorting and identifying lepidoptera images is always welcome! Hi!
Your attempt to "translate" (I guess by using some machine translation tool) the image description for the POTD into Czech ("San Františkán Internacionál Letecký přístav v noci.") has really been unsuccessful. Machine translation from English to Czech is unusable in most cases, don't do that, please.

BTW, I'm extremely angry that you emptied out the Category:Agave and Category:Yucca that I was filling up. Didn't it occur that maybe you ought to ask before trashing somebody else's project? - What the heck was your project anyways? I was merely following what we had discussed on the WikiProject Tree of Life Talk Page. The Category:Agave and Category:Yucca didn't have enough species to have it's own genus category. -- Sam916 00:37, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- There are 150 species of agave and 40+ yuccas, perfectly fine category sizes. I don't see that anybody agreed with your proposal to not have genus categories, and if you had taken the trouble to look at the page histories, you would have seen that I had been moving each into a subcategory, one by one.
