Hi. I apologize for the image titled Cambio climatico.jpg. This was edited to illustrate one featured article in the Spanish wikipedia [1]. I would like this file not to be removed. However I will not upload any more edited images as you suggested. Cheers. --Wricardoh 5 July 2005 13:34 (UTC)

I don't want to remove it (i even not thinked at anything like that) but it is better to have five single images then one big. The diagrams to the bottom left and upper right are too small to see details and so it's information character is limited. Merwürdig, ich kann gerade nicht nachvollziehen wie ich das übersehen konnte. Davon abgesehen sind es aber etwas viele Kategorien und durch die Einordnung bei copper ist es im Kategorienbaum mE findbar genug, denn sonst würden die Überkategorien irgendwann übervoll. --Saperaud 10:35, 25 July 2005 (UTC)

Ich hab gesehen, dass du den Link zum Originalbild im Artikel einbaust und zwar mit PAGENAME. Im Prinzip ist das ne ziemlich praktische Sache, benutz ich genauso, aber ich trag statt dessen ein "subst:" davor ein, dann wird die Variable gleich hart durch den Namen ersetzt (klappt auch schon direkt beim Upload!). Ein "Image:" davor kommt auch nicht schlecht, weil dann findet man auch das Bild ;-) Im Endeffekt siehts dann so aus: [[de:Image:{{subst:PAGENAME}}]] --BLueFiSH ?! 05:11, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

Das kopiere ich automatisch aus einer meiner Copy&Paste Tabelllen in Wikimedia Commonplace. Gestern habe ich festgestellt das ich wohl dutzende Bilder bisher ohne "Image:" hochgeladen habe, korrigieren wäre aber im nachhinein zu aufwendig. --Saperaud 14:21, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

Sorry but I speak non of your languages. The problem is that I can't translate things like "olixisto" or "Sal xema" and nobody can use the image if he/she don't knew what it shows. Could you perhaps translate them into spanish so that dictionarys may work? Your images have the line:

Die anderen wurden halt leider umsonst hochgeladen, weil du vergessen hast das Bild in der englischen Wikipedia mit einem NowCommons-Baustein zu versehen und der Dateiname ein anderer war. [edit] Verortung... Ortskategorien, Galerien, Kategorien für Kreise

Hallo Saperaud, generell bin ich dafür, dass jedes Bild aus einem Ort bzw. einer Landschaft eine Ortskategorie erhält. Blaite hat für seine Lagekarten und Wappen aus NRW massiv ein paralleles Kategoriensystem eingeführt, auch in Verbindung mit den Kreisen.

Für mich erscheint es logisch, dass man bei dem System "XYZ, Germany" bleiben sollte, ergänzend "Kreis Warendorf, Germany" oder "Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis, Germany". Wir haben dann beide am Thema gearbeitet, aber an den zwei verschiedenen Enden des Taus gezogen.

In Location maps of German towns/Nordrhein-Westfalen findet man noch genügend Beispiele wie Image:Lage der Stadt Gummersbach in Deutschland.png mit rotem link auf Kategorie:Stadt Gummersbach‬ (falsch). Vielleicht magst du das untere Ende der Seite mal abarbeiten und nach ähnlichen Fällen suchen.

Langfristig sollte man sich wohl mal überlegen:

Brauchen wir Kategorien für Kreise und Gemeinden plus Kreisfreie Städte? Wenn ja, sollte es für Deutschland einheitlich gesetzt werden.

Beispiel: So ähnlich habe ich es unter Category talk:North Rhine-Westphalia mal versucht, darzustellen. Den Anstoss gab jedoch Blaite.

Brauchen wir wirklich auch noch zusätzlich Seiten mit galleries, die am Ende dann doch niemand mehr einer echten Wartung unterziehen wird?

Beispiel: Es gibt Städte, da ist die Kategorie völlig leer und auf einer Seite mit einer Galerie tauchen dann dutzende Fotos auf. Woanders ist die Kategorie voll und die Galerie leer. Da läuft in Commons was voll auseinander.

Ich bevorzuge Lösungen bei denen Links in Bildbeschreibungen blau werden und man von der Wikipedia auf Artikel verlinken kann. Das könnte man parallel zur Kategorie machen oder diese auf Kreisebene halten. Da ich selbst jedoch wenig mit diesem Artikelkreis zu tun habe ist meine Meinung da wurscht. Ortsartikel sollen mE aber irgendwann mal aussehen wie Roma und nicht einfach wie ein bunt gemischter Haufen nach Alphabet. --Saperaud 16:25, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

Hello, thanks for the message! I asked to delete this image because I thought that its quality turned out rather poor... kind of blurred. It looked ok in my photo viewer but not in the browser.

Since I've tagged it for deletion right after the upload, this image must not have been in use at all.

What's your opinion, if I may ask? If it looks okay to you then please go ahead and un-delete it :) As to me, I like it; just thought it's no good.

If the filename is the same it's poosible to simply overwrite the old version with a new one. If you change the filename it's necessary to change all sites which are using the image. That's the main point why images shouldn't be renamed daily. --Saperaud 16:36, 2 December 2005 (UTC)

Could you please take a look into this category and look at the many small pictures of parks that seemed to have been taken with a security camera and all uploaded by the same users. in my opinion, these images are not really necessary and seem too generic to be included here, the user also uploaded pictures of random birds, some with not a very good resolution.... is it necessary to keep these?

Das Bild zeigt den Fluss Gambia aber im Staat Senegal, ich habe das auf der Seite Rainforest korrigiert. Oder sollte die Seite nach Regionen gelistet sein, im Moment sehe ich nur eine Gruppierung nach Staaten. In der Category:Rivers of Gambia findest du mehr Bilder ;-)

und auch hier Category:Abuko Nature Reserve ein kleiner 100ha großer Park
ein westafrikanischer küstennaher Wald Category:Bijilo Forest Park

Nicht, dass du mich missverstanden hattest. Du sollst nicht die Bilder aus kompletten Kategorien einbinden - sondern dort sind noch ein paar schöne aussagekräftige Bilder (für einen Grundstock) die zu dem Lebensraum Regenwald passen. Wenn man das richtig machen wollte müsste man die Bilder nach Typ ordnen, also gemäßigter Regenwald, Bergregenwald, Monsunregenwald, tropischer Regenwald ... Sorry, I will not be putting categories on my Image Description Pages because I put the pics into all relevant articles on Commons if the articles exist. If necessary I start a new article. The articles themselves are, of course, categorised. Perhaps I forgot to add that pic to Hot air balloon.

I am extremely surprised that I am "not to use points in my filenames"! I have been doing exactly that since my first computer (an Amiga) and on 4 PCs since and have never had a problem. Why would I? Das dient der Orientierung. Bei den Feldern die ich mir vornehme gehe ich so vor, dass ich alle Bilder in Artikeln zusammentrage und danach deren Kategorien streiche. Gleichzeitig suche ich nach Bildern die nicht entsprechend kategoriesiert waren (zum Beispiel bei Kategorie Berg oder Gletscher oder ganz ohne Kategorie). Diese Methode wende ich an da a, alle Artikel von den Wikipedias verlinkt werden (selten die Kategorien) und b, weil es keinen Sinn macht beide Funktionen auf die gleiche Art und Weise zu nutzen. Kategorien sind für mich daher eher Sammelstellen für Bilder, die noch nicht in Artikel einsortiert wurden bzw. für diese Artikel selbst. Eine Kategorie Gletscher in der Schweiz mit 400 Bildern würde zum Beispiel schnell keinen Sinn mehr machen. --Saperaud 01:48, 26 December 2005 (UTC)

I'm ready to work with you to bring the picture up to date, as it is quite incomplete in its current state.
