I noticed you've uploaded one or more images and I thought I should turn your attention to a common error.
Please give some thought to writing a good description of uploaded images. This ensures that they can be used. It also helps those that review and improve categories do a better job, which also ensures that images will get used in novel and interesting ways. I've updated Image:Questionmark copyright es.svg to be similar to Image:Questionmark copyright.svg. For the SVG filter, I found a good example on the web for a Gaussian blur, which I just use in combination with opacity. I use Illustrator for most of my graphics (I like the SVG code it generates), and generally edit the SVG code a bit afterwords. It seems to work for me. Mwtoews 04:05, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Hola

La ilustración Image:H2O.jpg es muy buena, pero está descrito como un paisaje nor-polar, aunque muestra claramente montañas antárticas. No sé como describirlo, dado que en el Polo Norte no hay montes, y en el Sur no hay belugas ¿Tal vez fantasía polar? Por otro lado, dado que las imágenes que usaste tenían una licencia que requería atribución he puesto los nombres (de usuario de Flickr) de sus autores. Saludos --Javier ME 16:00, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi! Can you tell me and Rocket000 (see) why that category is named after the language Latin. I've been trying to find any single reference that would indicate "Latin Compass" is an "authoritative term", ~~but have had no luck.~~ Thanks // FrankB 07:15, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Figured it out after all... see, but think we'll be renaming the category anyway. Capital 'C' is problematic all on it's own, but how's Compass rose (Latin languages) strike you. "Romance languages" is the preferred term in English academia these days, but not designating the word language really had me going. (Of course, if I'd have been smart enough to inspect more of the images... but I wasn't! OUCH!) Let me know if you can live with that, or prefer a different alternative. Hola Serg!o, acabo de llegar a la imagen Image:Diego_El_Cigala_en_20_minutos.jpg. Resulta que la fuente que especificaste no era el enlace directo a la imagen, y ahora hay un problema puesto que en la entrevista la foto de El Cigala no aparece por ningún lado. ¿Tienes alguna referencia de dónde está alojada la foto? Hi, some other user marked the "20c" version as duplicate, i think we should keep it and delete the "20 " version instead because of the filename of the russian version and the heavy usage (29 articles) of this image. I transfered your gallery to the sourcetext of the 20c image (hidden in the sourcetext) and will now going to delete Image:Romance 20 en.png, hope thats ok, I also listed your work under the author section. There is a local duplicate of this file in the Sicilian language language wikipedia, this will be tagged with "no commons". --Martin H. (talk) 19:43, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Hola. He visto que eres el autor de Image:Luzviminda.png. Hay un problemilla y es que el archipiélago en el centro se llama en español "Bisayas" y no "Visayas". Por contagio del inglés aparece erroneamente como "visayas" muchas veces en la wiki española, pero estamos intentando corregirlo. ¿podrías cambiarlo?. Gracias anticipadas. Gracias por tu contribución a la imagen File:Variedades principales del español.png. Definitivamente tu trabajo expresa mucho mejor la realidad dialectal del idioma. pero creo que de la misma manera el dialecto mexicano debería difuminarse por los Estados Unidos, difuminarse con el color gris del mapa. O de la misma forma darle un color distinto para un dialecto Estadounidense, como veas. Te lo digo a ti, porque yo no se ni que programa ni que técnica usaste para el difuminado, y no quiero hacerlo yo y que quede mal. Gracias, chao.
