Title 17, Ch. 1, Sec. 107 of the US Copyright law states that such Fair Use "is not an infringement of copyright." Click HERE to read the statute. While copyright infringement complaints must be decided on a case by case basis, the Supreme Court has determined that copyright law cannot be used for the sole purpose of suppressing ideas. --— Preceding unsigned comment added by Superchargedone (talk • contribs) 23:01, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
Are you sure we want the same image in two different formats? Normally, we prefer one single copy. --Sreejith K (talk) 13:12, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for answer. Users want the same image in two different formats. PNG and JPEG aren't identical from the point of view of assignment: JPEG is intended generally for use in Wiki, PNG is, as providing the best quality, generally for external users. The vast majority of images of stamps have the JPEG format. Let users decide, what formats for them it is better. Please return files. --Matsievsky (talk) 18:00, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue.
Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
