Prawa autorskie wygasają dla autorów, którzy zmarli do 1935 włącznie. Jeśli nastąpiło to później, są ciągle w mocy i wymagana jest zgoda spadkobierców (w przypadku zdjęć mogą być one dopuszczone na warunkach {{PD-Polish}}, warunkiem jest wcześniejsza publikacja bez zastrzeżeń, jeśli pochodzi ono z rodzinnego albumu... to też potrzebna jest zgoda).

Zbieżność nazwisk pozwala przypuszczać, że jesteś potomiem Jerzego Steifera. W takim przypadku musisz wyraźnie zaznaczyć, że udostępniasz jego projekt odznaki na licencji GFDL, bo zgodnie z prawem jego prawa autorskie tracą moc dopiero w 2010 roku.

Co do zdjęcia: trzeba by zrobić to samo, albo powiedzieć, gdzie zostało opublikowane wcześniej i czy tam autor sobie zastrzegł (dopiskiem fot. lub (c)) prawa do niego. A.J. 11:34, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

• Dziękuję za odpowiedź! Tamte odznaczenia które przesłałeś są odznaczeniami państwowymi, ich wzór jest dokumentem urzędowym, więc sam obiekt nie jest przedmiotem praw autorskich: jego zdjęcie zaś nie jest reproduckją, więc nosi prawa autorskie twórcy (w tym przypadku: twoje). Co do tych grafik które pszysłałeś, porawiłem ich opisy i licencje. Brakuje tylko informacji, gdzie było opublikowane zdjęcie twojego stryja, warto je dopisać bo jest wymóg że grafiki muszą mieć podane źródło, nawet jeśli licencja jest poprawna. Co do zdjęć robionych na zamówienie przez fotografa: ściśle rzecz biorąc, jeśli nie było spisanej umowy, zachowuje on prawa autorskie... Miałem przez to problem ze zdjęciem swojej babci, który próbwano usunąć na tej podstawie. Do swoich zdjęć ślubnych zaś dopisałem na wszelki wypadek wzmiankę o umowie (chociaż jest ona jedynie ustna... jakby studio chciało ją podważyć, to nie byłoby żadnych problemów, bo przekazanie praw majątkowych musi mieć formę pisemną pod rygorem nieważności)... Tu już jednak zbliżamy się do tego, co jest określane jako "Copyright paranoia". Moje uwagi miały na celu właśnie zabezpieczenie przed możliwą przyszłą reakcją użytkowników Commons. Zgoda wydawcy w której nie przedstawia on licencji jest niewiele warta (zobacz np. [1]). Skanowanie nie jest twórczością, więc kto robił skan nie ma żadnego znaczenia. Może być i ustna (jak się zgodzi, możesz nawet telefon do niego podać), ale powinieneś napisać kto wyraził zgodę i na jakich warunkach. http://aster.iespana.es/library/lapa.htm Mała uwaga, pierwszy rysunek na tej stronie jest lustrzanym odbiciem. Dlatego widać okno wyrzutowe łusek, a nie widać skrzydełka przełącznika rodzaju ognia. Pisze tu bo nie mogę znaleźć innego prywatnego kontaktu z Tobą. Chodzi o Młodzieżowy slang. Nawet jeżeli hasło padnie, będzie można je napisać od nowa zważywszy że jest zmieniona nazwa. Normalnie trzeba odczekać 3 m-c. Taki sposób jest powiedzmy na granicy dopuszczalności i nie mam 100% pewności. Ale podsuwam Ci to rozwiązanie. Może skontaktuj się z Gythią czy tak można zrobić. Nawet jakby ktoś sprzątnął zanim uda się uzyskać pisemną zgodę, to można odzyskać... "Spisek" przeciwko PD-PRL wygasł, ale nie oznacza to, że grafiki z PD-PRL są bezpieczne, dopóki się nie wskaże pozainternetowego (książka, gazeta) źródła, skąd pochodzą: ale to już wynika z zasad ogólnych. I have uploaded a portion of your Douglas coat of arms (Image:Douglas hamiltonCoA.png) as the above image. My hope is to use it to replace a similar image recently deleted as a copyright violation that was used on over 100 articles in the English language Wikipedia via en:Template:Infobox Scottish island. It is my assumption that this does not violate the copyright of the original image, and my hope that you will be agreeable to its use in this manner. Please let me know if this is not the case. Hi Tomek. We, it-wiki users, need your help: we appreciated the coat of arms of Jan II, that you loaded into Commons and we put in it-wiki, but now we are in trouble. We read the "Historical coat of arms of Transylvania", (both English and Roumenian version). It turns out that the coat of arms of Transylvania didn't exist at John II' times. So the coat of arms of John must be a forgery. Could you please tell us where is the original that you copied and loaded into Commons? I suppose it was created afterwards, as nobody knew how was his coat of arms. Minąłeś się tu z prawdą, gdyż wszystkie te prace są Marian Mokwy. To że samodzielnie zeskanowałeś/sfotografowałeś nie upoważnia Cię do przypisywania sobie autorstwa. Jednocześnie naruszasz w ten sposób prawa autorskie malarza, umieszczając te grafiki przed zakończeniem okresu ochronnego od śmierci artysty. jak wyjaśniłem w dyskusji zgłaszającego, i w dyskusji zakwestionowanych grafik był to mój błąd w opisie - grafiki były zdjęciami obrazów olejnych mojego autorstwa, inspirowanych obrazami Mokwy, a nie ich kopiami, reprodukcjami mechanicznymi czy skanami. Jako takie nie naruszały praw autorskich zmarłego wielkiego marynisty. Moim błędem było niedokładne wyjaśnienie tego w opisach grafik Steifer 18:29, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello again! I wrote to you once before about the English Viscount's coronet.

I have noticed that your picture the coronet of an English Baron has a decorated rim. It is a peculiarity, but the Baron's coronet, unlike the coronets of other peers, doesn't have any decoration on the rim. It is just a plain band of metal, with four silver balls.
