Thanks for uploading Image:070605_uk_glos_sharpness.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use cc-by-sa-2.5 to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or PD-self to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you. [edit] Image:Dorset geology.png

Lovely map, but I noticed a couple of spelling typos: Eocine (should be Eocene) and Wealdon (should be Wealden). Pterre 20:02, 1 March 2008 (UTC) (en:User talk:Pterre)

[edit] Image:Megabus usa.jpg

This picture is being used on the Stagecoach Group article on the English Wikipedia. If you have more information about where the picture is, please fill in the appropriate section to place the location. I am assuming Memphis, Tennessee, but I am not sure. --AEMoreira042281 01:14, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Graffiti

Hi. I've deleted Image:040705 009 bristol maj m32.jpg as it was a photo of graffiti, and 2D works aren't covered under UK freedom of panorama. -mattbuck (Talk) 22:25, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello Steinsky!

Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Commons images are used by editors on many projects in many languages. Each image is put into categories. This helps other editors find them. Please add categories to each image you upload.

To add an image to a category, add the following code to the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbit of comets, add the following to the image description page:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories: Astronomy diagrams, Comets.

For further information on categories read Commons:Categories.

The CommonSense Tool often helps you find the best category for your image.

Here is a gallery of your images. Please check that each image has a category. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the help desk. Thank you.
