Hi Tgr. Finally I had a look at your catinsert tool. It's pretty nifty, but not as useful as it might be on Commons I think, because browsing from the top of the tree to the bottom is actually quite painful. The concept is good though :)

Re: the interface is fine, what I meant is it would be nice to see a second description box in my language of choice open by default even if I set the interface to english (programmers tend to do that because localisations usually suck; MediaWiki's is pretty good, but old reflexes die hard :-) - Do you mean a generic second box, or you really want some way to specify a second language to appear? Because there's no way we could guess that, is there?

Indeed catinsert is pretty cool... a pity it's tied to the edit bar (I, for one, have it disabled...). But with some work the actual category display and selection functionality could probably be separated from the insert-into-some-textfield functionality and be turned into a re-usable stand-alone Javascript, and then we could think about how to integrate it into HotCat (where it could start the tree display at the category matching the user's input?). There are situations where a tree view-and-select functionality may be more appropriate than HotCat's autosuggestions. If we could somehow provide both interfaces in an unobtrusive way that'd be great. Lupo 14:26, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] deprecated function in your monobook.js

Dear user, I noticed that you use the includePage function in your monobook.js page.

This function is now obsolete, as the importScript function was introduced with rev:35064 to the MediaWiki Javascript core library wikibits.js. It also keeps track of already imported files.

To allow us to remove includePage from Mediawiki:Common.js I'd kindly ask you to replace its use with importScript (same syntax!). Thanks! --Dschwen 17:03, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

A kép Andi régi weboldalához készült. Nem tudom biztosan, de azt hiszem az úrnak több másik képe is felkerült arra a weboldal verzióra. A gond az, hogy wincseszterhalál miatt elveszett az eredeti kép amit a fényképezőgépem csinált, és csak jpg maradt fenn. Szóval nem tudom bizonyítani. Ja és igen. Nem profi fotós vagyok, csak ismerem, és szeretem Andit. Hagyjuk. Amit utoljára felajánlottam, (kértem) hogy egy újabb képem feltettem a http://dombi.borda.ca/andi/wikipedia/ tárhelyre. Van ilyen fórum is, (borda.ca) de tárhelynek is használhatom. És ide feltettem az eredeti .nef képet is ami a nikon fényképezőgépem formátuma. Ebben kértem segítséget, hogy feltehetem e, és milyen licenszel? Vagy ha nem nagy kérés, (ugye szabadon szerkeszthető?) megköszönném ha feltöltené (valaki). Szia, Tgr, csak szólok, hogy ne tegyél pontot a képaláírások végére, mert megyek utánad törölni őket Template:) A képaláírások címszerűek, nincs pont a végükön. Ugyanez a kurziválásnál, amikor egy dög tudományos nevét kurziválod, tedd léci a zárójelekkel együtt. Tudom, hogy ezek piszlicsáré dolgok, de mégis. Köszi. Közvetlenül belenyúlkáltam a képaláírásba pontügyben. Ebben az esetben nem ördöngösség mondatot faragni az eredetiben kettébontott szövegből. Egyébként a könyvszerkesztési kiskáté és általános gyakorlat szerint amennyiben többmondatos egy képaláírás, természetesen pontokkal határoljuk el a mondatokat, csak az utolsó mondat végére nem kerül írásjel. Én eztet már szerkesztőkoromban is utáltam, és a kétmondatos képaláírásokat inkább tipográfiailag tagoltam el, amire itt is lehetőségünk van, bár kevésbé szép eredménnyel, mondjuk:

A Brahmaputra felső folyása Tibetben
A háttérben egy jeti körvonalai láthatóak

Kérlek ne terjeszd az újra és újra felbukkanó hamis magyar zászlót. 1957-1989 között sem volt címer a magyar zászlón, az általda feltöltött címeres verziót soha sehol nem használták hivatalosan, illetve emlékeim és tudásom szerint nemhivatalosan sem.
