Watermark templates[edit]

Hi! You're doing a very nice job of removing watermarks. I'd just like to suggest that you also remove the {{watermark}} tag from the image description pages once you're done and add the {{Attribution metadata from licensed image}} or {{metadata from image}} as appropriate. Cheers, Quibik (talk) 10:19, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

Who's who[edit]

  • Take it as a compliment that User:Denniss thinks that those high quality shots must be done by a professional :-). Actually I think it is just because there is a copyright notice in the exif data, and no indication that user Thparkth is indeed Andrew. I think that you just need to identify yourself on your User-page here as you have done on en:Wiki, and maybe use {{self|cc-by-sa-3.0|author=YOUR NAME}} or similar on your photos. Also a link back to your en:User-page as your 'home' page would probably help :-) --Tony Wills (talk) 10:33, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice. I have followed your recommendations. In the case of this image it should be painfully obvious that it is not a professional image - it was shot on a low-end consumer DSLR (Canon Rebel XT), at ISO 800 (so it is too noisy), and it is slightly out of focus. But it was taken three years ago, and I am a better photographer now ;) Thparkth (talk) 11:59, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
