Metal Bird.jpg for deletion
My User Name is Xolin. My real name is Colin George Jeffrey, and I am the copyright owner of the image you wish to delete. I made the sculpture in question and I took a photograph of it and uploaded it to Wikipedia myself. Please DO NOT delete it. If you would care to verify my copyright, please email me from the Contact page at the Website that you mention: www.electric-hamster.com
Why did you completely and utterly ignore my comment above? I OWN this image because I CREATED this sculpture!
AS I ASKED you - please contact me viait the contact page on the Electric Hamster Website as I asked you to do.
Why have you simply removed this without even consulting me?!?
Metal Bird file removal from Found Art/Found Object
As I told you before, I CREATED this sculpture , I am the owner of the copyright, and it is me who took the picture of my OWN work!
Why didn't you contact me to confirm this from the contact page of Electric Hamster, like I asked you to? Why have you deleted this file without any reference whatsoever to me??
I feature the picture of my Tea Bird on the FRONT PAGE of my website. It is my work. What more do you want me to do to prove this? Send you a photo of me holding the sculpture..??!??!!?

I left you several messages on here, and a method of contacting me for clarification, neither of which you deigned to respond to.
I see that you have been on here as you have been conversing with someone else.
So; will you now please respond to my questions as to why the file in question has been deleted despite the fact that I asked you not to, despite the fact that I gave you an avenue to contact me, and despite the fact that I have affirmed that i am, in fact, the copyright owner of this image?
- I reply rather more quickly to people who give off rather less of a sense of entitlement. As a general rule I do not communicate about actions on Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons via email. I am not the admin who deleted your image, I am only the editor who began the deletion discussion as there was no evidence that you were the copyright holder. In order for us to be able to accept previously published work, we need a verifiable statement of permission. Please see Commons:OTRS for the process. VernoWhitney (talk) 23:58, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
'A sense of entitlement'? Goodness.
First of all, I would not have repeated my request in an ever-more strident manner had someone simply bothered to tell me what to do when I first asked some months ago (and then again in the following weeks) instead of simply ignoring me.
Secondly, I find it particularly galling that as a supposedly 'Open' and 'Inclusive' collaboration in the sharing and expansion of knowledge, your behaviour indicates the opposite - especially when someone who doesn't know your precious 'Rules' is treated with such disdain.
Thank-you so much for your help.
