Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.
  • Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Gracias por tenerme en cuenta para hacer los escudos. En los últimos días he estado pendiente de los nuevos cardenales, buscando si cambiaron sus escudos o continuaron con los mismos y solo actualizaron los ornamentos externos, hasta el momento aun figuran las versiones de arzobispo, toca esperar y estar muy pendiente de cualquier cambio. El sitio araldicavaticana.com/, que reúne los escudos de los cardenales, aun no ha actualizado sus datos, toca esperar. Lo que me preocupa es que algunos usuarios están haciendo la versión cardenalicia sin tener aun confirmado los cambios. Si ve alguna información al respecto por favor no dude en comunicarmela. Google Street View Argentina es Parcialmente completo[edit]

La cobertura de Argentina en Street View es muy incompleta. De hecho solo tiene una cobertura de apenas un poco más de 130 ciudades. Si entrás al sitio de Google Street View podrás ver la cobertura marcada en azul. Te recomiendo que hagas zoom, ya que si lo ves de lejos parecería que todo el país está pintado de azul, pero al acercar te vas a dar cuenta que lo que está marcada son simplemente las rutas, si bien son la mayoría de las rutas, no todas están cubiertas. Pero lo más importante es que son solo un poco más de 130 ciudades aquellas que están cubiertas. Es correcto decir que tiene una cobertura "parcialmente completa", y es incorrecto decir que su cobertura es "completa".

Te recomiendo hacer zoom y realmente ver que lo que está marcado son las rutas. Y si querés ver un listado completo de las ciudades cubiertas, te recomiendo que mires éste artículo de la Wikipedia en Inglés: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Street_View_in_Latin_America#Areas_included

Espero que te des cuenta de que es incorrecto calificar la cobertura de Argentina como "completa", y vuelvas a poner el mapa en su debida coloración: "parcialmente cubierto".

De hecho, Brasil tiene mucho más cobertura que Argentina, y claramente también está "parcialmente cubierto".

Hola, estas equivocado, según los y condiciones y otro articulo el sitio turismo.buenosaires.gob.ar es contiene los mismos términos legales de licencias creative commons al respecto al de buenosaires.gob.ar, ademas ambos son parte del Gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, quizás por ser (segun me parecio ver) de hong kong no lo entiendas, o la barrera no sea cultural sino lingüística, debido a que no hablas castellano, no lo se con certeza, pero en cualquier caso, te recomiendo investigar debidamente antes de nominar a borrado archivos, y mas los de una antigüedad tan grande como la de este en cuestión (implícitamente demuestra que todos los que revisaron dicha imagen no vieron problemas), que tiene 6 años, y para colmo, esta debidamente documentado con su planilla y es fácilmente verificable. me obligaste a volver a estos sitios, que abandone intencionalmente años atrás, para defender este archivo, para explicar el motivo de mi partida, justamente fue en mi opinion, la burocracia absurda y la inyección transversal de una vision autoritaria y parcializada de claras tendencias ideológico-políticas extremas que intentan disimular y aplicar mediante abismales diferencias de tiempo disponible para editar, en todos estos proyectos wiki, donde se ve su maxima expresión (de entre los 4 idiomas que conozco) en la wikipedia en español. Dado tu perfil, no tengo ni la mas remota idea como te cruzaste con este archivo (que es muy raro debido a los idiomas que hablas, o porque le hiciste la cruz, pero espero que dejes de utilizar herramientas automáticas para editar en los proyectos, ya que extenderías dramáticamente el potencial daño que podrías hacer al contenido correcto cuyos usuarios no están participando del proyecto.
