[edit] Tokina AT-X AF 100/2,8 Makro Pro D
--Simonizer 10:47, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] about this and the recently uploaded and superior version
I was going to see if I could find if you were here or not, the photograph tells only about German Wikipedia when I saw the new upload in the recent uploads stream.
It is a superior version to the one that went through the nomination stuff. I opposed that version strongly (only oppose is just a one time opinion with no degrees of strength) and felt like some games were being played.
The version you uploaded today, I would not have opposed it -- that is a beautiful photograph. Thank you for the extra effort! -- carol 18:34, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. The version that was before is a editing of User:Ikiwaner, it is completly overededged. I annullated this version. Wladyslaw 18:39, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello Taxiarchos228!
Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to Commons should be useful to all users of Wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.
To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.
You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.
The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!

[edit] Canadian stamps
Hi, irrespective of what LAC might say, Canadian postage stamps are nonfree for 50 years after their publication (you may have noticed Category:Stamps of Canada only has images of old stamps, with maybe one or two recent that have eluded deletion). Stan Shebs (talk) 21:27, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- You might mix up terms and definitions of copyright and pubic domain. Stamps are issued by an officiall institution and therefore I did not see the point.
- Why didn't you delet File:Keno-Owl.jpg?
- Can you bring a reputable resource for your predication with the 50-year-rule. (I read already Commons:Stamps/Public_domain#Canada) Wladyslaw (talk) 09:33, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
