Victoria Falls

English: The Victoria Falls are waterfalls on the Zambezi River which forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The falls are also known as Mosi oa Tunya.
[edit] Baines' illustrations 1865 (and comparisons)
In 1865 the traveller and artist Thomas Baines published illustrations of the falls. In human history a great deal has changed around the falls, but the falls themselves seem the same as ever.

In 2003, the buffaloes were protected: this area is now Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia |
