English: The Walk of Ideas was a boulevard with total six sculptures in Berlin-Mitte and showed German inventions (May - Sept. 2006). It was part of the initiative Germany – Land of Ideas on the occasion of 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany
Deutsch: Als Walk of Ideas kamen in Berlin-Mitte zwischen Mai und September 2006 sechs Skulpturen zur Aufstellung, die den deutschen Erfindungsreichtum zur FIFA Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft Deutschland 2006 nach außen repräsentieren sollten.

English: These boots are 12 meters long and commemorate to an invention by Adi Daßler. He had developed football shoes that provided particularly firm grip on the soft ground that was soaked with rain and revolutionised football with the flexible screw-in stud shoe in 1953.

English: This sculpture has a length of 10.2 metres, is 3.25 metres high, 4.5 metres wide and weighs a total of about 10 tons. It’s designed by Audi. More than hundred people worked on it from planning through to construction and production. The automobile was an idea for example by August Horch, Karl Benz, Gottlieb Daimler, Ferdinand Porsche and Rudolf Diesel, the inventor of the Diesel engine.
Deutsch: Diese Skulptur hat eine Länge von 10,2 Metern, Höhe von 3,25 Metern und eine Breite von 4,5 Metern bei einem Gewicht von über 10 Tonnen. Das Design erstellte Audi. Mehr als 100 Personen arbeiteten an der Skulptur von der Planung bis zur Konstruktion und Produktion.Das Automobil war eine Idee unter anderem von August Horch, Carl Benz, Gottlieb Daimler, Ferdinand Porsche und Rudolf Diesel, dem Erfinder des Dieselmotors.

- Location: Bebelplatz, square near the Unter den Linden in front of Humboldt University. The location is only approx. 50m from the location of the Nazi book burning in 1933.
English: The construction of this sculpture with more than twelve meters heigh took about three days on the Bebelplatz. It is to commemorate to a lot of German writers and poets and especially to Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of Modern Book Printing around 1450 in Mainz. He produced the first „Bestseller“ in history: the Bible.
Deutsch: Die Konstruktion dieser über 12 Meter hohen Skulptur auf dem Bebelplatz dauerte drei Tage. Sie erinnert an verschiedenen deutsche Dichter und Schriftsteller und insbesondere an Johannes Gutenberg, der um 1450 in Mainz den modernen Buchdruck erfand. Mit der Bibel produzierte er den ersten „Bestseller“ der Geschichte. Die Skulptur steht in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft des weniger auffallenden Mahnmals zur Bücherverbrennung von 1933.

English: The sculpture „Masterworks of Music“ consists of a total of six musical notes, three crochets and three quavers. Each note is 8 metres tall, 5.4 metres long and 2.1 metres wide. Each Quaver weighs a total of 8.6 tonnes. The notes symbolise Germany as a nation of music with composers as Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and Wagner, with pioneers such as Karlheinz Stockhausen and with interpreters as Anne-Sophie Mutter.
Deutsch: Die Skulptur „Meisterwerke der Musik“ besteht aus sechs einzelnen Noten, jeweils drei mit und ohne „Fahne“. Jede Note ist 8,10 Meter hoch, 5,4 Meter lang und 2,1 Meter breit und wiegt – mit Fahne – 8,6 Tonnen. Die Noten stehen für das Musikland Deutschland, für Komponisten wie Bach, Beethoven, Brahms und Wagner, für Pioniere wie Stockhausen und für Interpreten wie Anne-Sophie Mutter.

English: This sculpture is to commemorate to Einsteins works to relativity, which revolutionised our perception of time and space. The sculpture consists of three segments, weighs a total of 10 tonnes, is almost 4 metres tall and 12 metres long.
