In Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism the Wheel of Life is a symbolic representation of samsara, the continuous cycle of birth, life, death. In the Indian Mahayana Buddhism scriptural language of Sanskrit, the Wheel of Life is called Bhavachakra.
