English: Xi'an is an ancient city located in the middle of China. It was the capital of various dynasties from 1046 B.C. to 907 A.D, it has been known under a number of different names including most notably as Chang'an during the Tang dynasty. Today it is the capital of Shaanxi province. Many cultural relics remain within the city.
