圆明园

English: Yuanmingyuan (pinyin: Yuanmingyuan, 圆明园), or the old Summer Palace in Peking, was one of the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial palaces, located in northwest of Beijing, China. It was first built in 1709, and was burnt in 1860.
中文: 圆明园是中国清朝的一座大型皇家园林，由圆明园及其附园长春园和绮春园（后改称万春园）组成，通称为“圆明三园”。其规模宏伟，融汇了各式园林风格，娴熟地运用各种造园技巧，堪称是中国园林艺术史上的顶峰性作品，被西方国家称作“万园之园”。1860年，该园被英法联军焚毁，现仅存遗址。
