Afghan Border Police

The Afghan Border Police (ABP) is responsible for protecting and controlling Afghanistan's international borders as well as all international airports in the country. It is part of the Afghan National Police force which is under the Ministry of Interior. The ABP is trained and maintained by the United States and other NATO nations, and is divided into six regional units covering the whole of the country.
