English: Caesar Rodney (October 7, 1728–June 26, 1784) was a lawyer and politician born in the Delaware Colony of British America. He was an officer of Delaware's militia during the French and Indian War and the American Revolution, a Continental Congressman, a signer of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and President (i.e. governor) of Delaware during most of the American Revolution.
