Dansk: Camp Rising Sun er en 8-ugers international sommerlejr for talentfulde unge fra hele verden. Lejrene bliver drevet af Louis August Jonas Foundation og George E. Jonas Foundation i hhv. USA og Danmark. Den første lejr (CRS/R) blev oprettet i 1930 i Red Hook, New York og havde til formål at samle 40 drenge fra New York. Senere blev lejren udvidet til at have 60 deltagere fra hele verden. I 1989 åbnede en lignende lejr (CRS/C) i Clinton, New York for 60 piger fra hele verden. I 2001 blev en tilsvarende lejr (CRS/Europe) oprettet i Stendis nær Holstebro af tidligere danske deltagere.
English: Camp Rising Sun is an invitation-only, 8-week summer, international, full-scholarship, leadership program for gifted and talented students (ages 14–16) operated by the Louis August Jonas Foundation (LAJF), a non-profit organization. There is a boys facility and a separate girls facility in Rhinebeck, north of New York City in the Hudson River valley. Participants are recruited world-wide and are chosen by merit, rather than means, the camp being tuition-free. There are more than 5,000 alumni around the world, with alumni organizations in numerous countries.
Suomi: Camp Rising Sun (CRS) on kansainvälinen, uskonnollisesti tai poliittisesti sitoutumattoman säätiön ylläpitämä kesäleiri 14-15 -vuotiaille nuorille. Leirejä on tällä hetkellä toiminnassa kolme: pojille CRS/Red Hook New Yorkin osavaltiossa Yhdysvalloissa, tytöille CRS/Clinton New Yorkin osavaltiossa Yhdysvalloissa ja CRS/Europe Stendiksessä, Tanskassa. MYös Suomesta kutsutaan osallistujia näille leireille. Suomessa uusien leiriläisten valinnasta huolehtii vapaaehtoisvoimin entisten leiriläisten eli alumnien yhdistys Camp Rising Sun Alumni Association of Finland (CRSAAF).
