English: The 1921 Duesenberg Grand Prix Racer, also known was "Murphy Special", is the winning car of the 1921 French Grand Prix and 1922 Indianapolis 500. Jimmy Murphy won the 1921 French Grand Prix with this car, and it made this car to the first American racer which won a Grand Prix race in Europe. In next year, Murphy won the Indianapolis 500 with this car. But its engine was replaced from Duesenberg to Miller; therefore, he entered this car as "Murphy Special". Currently, this car is owned by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum with 1921 French Grand Prix livery (Car # 12).
