English: The Aldebaran was a three-masted iron barque built in 1869 with the name Concordia by Oswald & Co., Sunderland, as Yard No. 64 for French owners. Sold 1890 to J.N. Rodbertus, Barth (Germany) and 1897 sold to John M. Eklund, Åbo and was renamed Aldebaran. 1899 sold to owners in Sydney, Australia. 1912 hulked in Sydney. 1920 Is said to have been sold to owners in Hobart, Tasmaina to be used as a coal hulk and was registered at Barth, Germany.
Her dimensions were: length × beam × depth = 150.9 × 27.2 × 15.8 ft (46 × 8.3 × 4.8 m) and she had a tonnage of 463 NRT.[1]
