English: Allied-administered Korea (1945-1948).

After defeating the Empire of Japan in World War II, the Allied powers administered two temporary military governments in Korea, that governed from 1945 to 1948.

In the South, the U.S. administered the United States Army Military Government in Korea.
In the North, the Soviet Union administered the Soviet Civil Authority.
