The BAM Harvey Theatre at 651 Fulton Street between Rockwell and Ashland Places, was formerly the Majestic Theatre, and was renamed after the long-time head of BAM, Harvey Lichtenstein. It was built in 1903, and renovated in 1987 by Hardy Holzmann Pfeiffer. (Source: AIA Guide tonYC (5th ed.)) The first production in the newly-renovated- to-look-dilapidated venue was Sir Peter Brooks The Mahabarata.
